Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department searched property in Sky Valley for the body of a missing woman Wednesday, but an official says they did not find anything.
Officials were looking for the body of Shalonda Morris, a North Palm Springs woman who disappeared in October 2007.After obtaining a search warrant, they began looking at a home at 73-420 18th Ave.
"The warrant was the result of credible information gained in the last few months, which led us to believe the body of Shalonda Morris may be at this location," Sgt. Dean Spivacke said.
The property belongs to a relative of the suspects, siblings Vanesa Mihajson and Sean Mihajson, he said.
Morris, 36, was last seen when she left her home to meet Sean Mihajson at his condo on Mesquite Court in Palm Desert, according to prosecutors.
Both suspects remain in custody.
Morris' disappearance remains under investigation, but there are no plans to search any other properties, Spivacke said.
