I was glad to read in the LE update that they are searching for footage from wild life video cams in the area...

I hope there has been some footage taken in either surveillance cams or wild life cams... Or home/business cams..

all... JMO...

And ... is she on any camera footage the previous days when she was jogging?

Again I am for some odd reason getting AJ Hadsell flashes. 10:37, 1:39, such weirdly specific time recall, just like in AJs case. What time did I vote today? 11ish. That's all I can say for sure. I always feel when people make sure to get specific time stamps into a timeline of a crime, it's because they've carefully crafted something. I'm not outright accusing anyone, but it is usually a clear indicator that LE probably doesn't ignore either.

I also think its odd how quickly he dialed 911 and said it was an abduction. It was less than an hour..

1. He was home around 5ish.
2. No one home.
3. He called his children's day care and was told Sherri hadn't picked up their kids.
4. He used the "Find My iPhone" app to locate his wife's cell phone, which he discovered down the street.
5. He then immediately called 911 at 5:51 p.m to report Sherri missing.

I have a small carabeener with just my house key on it. If I went missing with it it would appear as if I'd left without my keys. Although if I left with no keys at all the door would be unlocked.

Do we know if the house was found locked or unlocked?

I don't think anything of her not having her keys - my home uses a lock that I punch a code into to get inside. I could also unlock it from my phone.

I am curious if she normally texted about lunch. Or was this a new behavior? I am always texting my DH to see if he wants to eat with me, however, my friend never texts her husband about lunch.

Flip side is: He comes home to find his wife and children gone, unexpectedly. He calls the daycare and learns she did not pick up the kids. He locates her phone abandoned, for no apparent reason, down the street. If he didn't call 911 right away, he'd be under suspicion for not calling when it was obvious something was seriously wrong. How, the argument would go, could he sit there and do nothing? Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I am wondering why he immediately went to thoughts of an abduction? I would have thought "No one is home, but Sherri's car is here. She and the kids must be out for a walk, playing at a neigbor's house or one of Sherri's friends picked them up and they are out doing something with other people." Or fill in the blank with anything other than abduction. I would be concerned, probably worried if this was not our normal, but I would have thought other thoughts. However, checking with day care makes sense to me and since the kids were still there, that would be cause for alarm. So many directions my thoughts go within his first hour of being at home from work that day.

Sorry but if my husband's phone was found on the side of the road where he normally jogs and he was missing I'd jump to that same exact conclusion and he's not nearly as petite and pretty as Sherri. It's a logical conclusion IMO. And I'd be terrified.

I guess I would call ALL family members, I would start calling friends on her contact list (he has her phone) and then I would start knocking on neighbors doors. I would then probably call the local hospital or drive by urgent care to see if she walked/ran in hurt. However, you are right... We are always suspicious!

Many people have already stated. Many of us text to significant others knowing they may or may not get the message for a while, maybe not even in time for whatever we are asking, but we still do it, just in case. Im in meetings all day long and sometimes between them ill look down and have many random messages from her.

Yes. He may be a take-charge man rather than a type who rules out other and less dramatic scenarios first.
However, I can't drop my initial unease about him.

I wish we knew more about Sherri's routine. If she ran the same route most days, she would be easy prey just by being predictable, petite and headphones on while jogging. Someone could easily stalk her. Have we heard if there have been any reason to think anyone had stalked her or harassed her in the past?
