:tyou: :daisy:

I didn't know that there was a statement that KP said branding all over! I missed that as I haven't read every single post and missed a day or two of threads.

I'll go searching for it or perhaps merely wait for tonight as I did think (apparently in error) that the reporter just added that in accidentally, just like the other day one publication stated that both had taken polys. I was trying to clarify, and thank you for clarifying that I was incorrect and not up to speed.

Thank you for the flowers, can't wait for 20/20.

Has a single detail of this case gone unchanged? Everything has multiple variations.
Imo that's one of the oddest things about this saga. Why so many versions?

Maybe they were thinking ahead that her blonde hair would be appealing if they were planning on using her for sex. The more I think about this I think that the heat from her missing is why they dumped her. What could they do with her? She would stick out like a sore thumb if they tried to travel with her, thankfully they didn't just kill her and dispose of her.

Agreed.

Thanks!
Edited to add: when I opened the map, a message popped up that Santa's Village was open. That made me smile. :)
Oh man! It's a cool Santa's village, too! Forgot all about that

IMO there is no way that SP self-inflicted all of those injuries. I can't imagine she'd cut her hair off either. Based on everything that we know about her, we have no reason to believe that she suffers from any psychological disorders, especially munchausen.

Right there with you. I mean anything is possible, but IMO that would be less likely than a real abduction and torture of a woman. Again that's just my opinion. It just sounds too Gone Girl to me.

The biggest injury of all was to the children. Would a mom do that to her children?

This case is weird as hell. People having questions is perfectly normal considering how crazy everything has been. KP should get his priorities straight. His focus should be on Sherri who has been through hell and needs his love and support. Reading comments on social media should never come into the equation. Who cares what other people think? His priority should be SP and their kids.

It is odd that he is very focused on Sherri's injuries and wants the world to know the gory details, but he doesn't seem very worked up about the fact the people who did this horrendous crime are still out there and his family, along with the community, are in danger. Maybe he will talk more about the captors in the 20/20 interview. I'm doubting he ran what he was going to say by LE first. This is all so screwy.

I don't know Keith. I don't know what he's been through. So, I'm not going to pass judgment on his decision. If he thinks it's the right thing to do, for whatever reason, and presumably with Sherri's approval, then more power to him.

O/T

For those waiting for the 10 pm show, NBC Dateline tonight has an hour coverage in one hour (9 pm eastern) of the Erin Corwin case here at WS

That is the reporter's paraphrase, not a direct quote of KP.

And we've seen how many mistakes the reporters have made. It happens.

I find it shocking that there is very little outrage and panic that two Hispanic women are out on the loose with a gun ready to kidnap, torture, molest?, burn, and God only knows what else to unsuspecting women victims!! You would think all media, the family of SP, law enforcement, local community, etc would all be freaking out right now. Yet, it's seemingly all crickets. Hmmmmm.

BTW, 20/20 airs at 10:00 p.m. PST tonight.

ETA: There is a reason we had to use the wayback machine to get a picture of who Sherri is. Why is that?

Well, we know she was missing, and she isn't now. I think that's the only facts that haven't changed....JMO!

It almost makes me think that KP and LE might know who did this and they don't want to let on because they are either searching for the perps or they are waiting for them to screw up. Maybe it sounds far fetched, but it's JMO.

Define "freaking out." I'm curious. Can you give some specific examples of what you think specific people should be doing that they haven't already done and that they're not already doing?

From the Daily Mail (I know not the most reliable) we learn Sherri was kept in a basement. Are there lots of basements in this area? tia <modsnip>

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...pent-shackled-starved-brutalized-captors.html

"It has now been over a week since Sherri was released by her captors, and there are still many questions that remain unanswered in the case.
Sherri is also having difficulty describing the two women who held her captive because in addition to keeping her isolated and shackled in a basement they also covered her head with a hood, making it hard for her to see anything but their eyes."

There are not many basements in California. I haven't ever seen one here actually.
