I’ll leave my comment(s) at that but oh, my…..the things I would like to say…..

ETA okay I lied lol…..I do have another comment. I re-watched the video of SP being released on bond & I had forgotten how hectic & chaotic the scene was, & it seemed to go on forever….what a circus! Her walk into the courthouse today with her atty was much more calm & controlled.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm not a lawyer but I can't see any court having the power to force a woman with minor children to get a job in order to repay debts.

She was working at a cell phone store when she abruptly took her 3 week vacay, and she took her kids to daycare, so its not like she's always been a stay at home super mom.

After the trauma she put them through at such a young age, wondering where mommy was and when she was coming home, she's a crappy mom anyway.

She can go back to work. She just can't keep the wages.

Who knows, Netflix may soon be knocking on Sherri's door.

Both Anna Delvey/Sorokin and the "Bad Vegan" Sarma Melngailis received money from Netflix for their stories. In Delvey's case the court froze her payment from Netflix then unfroze it so she could pay her debts. Melngailis paid her ex-employees and lawyer.

Not that I have any interest in seeing Papini's story. I've had quite enough, thanks.

She's a schemer and always has been. She's probably not eating to make herself weak and sick so she has to be hospitalized. That beats going to prison or working to pay back the small fortune she owes.

The more time to make herself sick and possibly hospitalized, the better. But you're right---she may not be sentenced to any time. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of outrage if that happens.

She can't file bankruptcy but it appears she's currently indigent anyway, unless she has assets of her own to declare.

I suspect her house, car and other assets are owned jointly with her husband and I don't think the government can punish him for her debts. And AFAIK she doesn't even have a job. So where would the funds come from?

Apparently all the restitution, etc is due in full immediately on sentencing! There is some mention of a payment plan here though. Page 3. I expect her parents are working on something right now.

The Court is not a party to this plea agreement. Sentencing is a matter solely within the discretion of the Court, and the Court may take into consideration any and all facts and circumstances concerning the criminal activities of defendant, including activities which may not have been charged in the Information. The Court is under no obligation to accept any recommendations made by the government, and the Court may in its discretion impose any sentence it deems appropriate up to and including the statutory maximum stated in this plea agreement.

Apparently the court can revoke her supervised release, if that’s what she’s gets, for failure to pay the restitution. Contempt is also an option. Let’s see what happens.

IMO she has done harm to her children in a myriad of ways, not the least of which
are her lying snd deceitful behaviors that her children have witnessed and no
doubt experienced their entire lives.
