Someone more knowledgeable than me can probably decipher the record better, but it appears to me that Sherri and Keith's divorce is now final: Tyler Odyssey Portal

(Looks like link to specific case doesn't hold, so just put case # 22FL-0199572 in the search)

That is all that we can say from the case summary there. It says it's closed, but it doesn't tell us anything more about the final disposition.

Case closed pretty much sums things up to me for this entire affair. JMO.

I hope that she didn't get custody of the children. She is interesting though, someone who completely messed up her life...makes no sense to me. She must have some sort of mental problems.

it is very difficult to comprehend what she did. By everything we had seen she seems to have an ideal life. A beautiful couple with beautiful family, and a home. And she created this bizarre story that destroyed it all. Mental health issue or some sort of personality disorder? What was her end game? It just doesn't make any sense. I sure feel sorry for her family.

Attention seeking. She was bored with her life.

Her actions of course don't make sense to normal people- obviously she is not normal, whatever problems she has; one thing for sure though, she selfishly acted out, not caring about her husband or children and for that I find her intolerable and disgusting.

Borderline Personality Disorder. People create drama in their lives, for validation. Tawana Brawley comes to mind. And she did not go to jail. Of course, she was 15 years old at the time, not an adult.

Same as Jussie Smollett, who was found guilty of lying to LEO, he has yet to pay his restitution or serve his sentence. On appeal.

People like this are impossible to have a relationship with, because of their constant need for drama. Anything can set them off. It can be treated, but it isn't easy.

I recall at the end of one of the TV shows about her- I think it was 20/20 with Matt Gutman... at the very end they revealed that Sherri had a history of lying before she married Keith. I think she had lied in past relationships and about her mother. If only he hadn't been so gullible... It's also annoying how they used to bill her as "Supermom".

Her family is so much better off without her in their lives, I mean all of her family, they may now have a chance to know what a normal life is. I hope that Keith meets a wonderful woman that will embrace her role as loving step mother to his children. I hope Sherri never has an opportunity to do more damage to them ever again. Her parents and siblings need to shut the door on her too. I don't think she will ever really change. JMO

She should have started her own YouTube channel. A Martha Stewart type. Maybe comparing decor of their prison cells.

She's getting out early.

At the end of November.

Just in time to celebrate the 7 year anniversary of her "kidnapping".

If you go to bop.gov and type in her name, her projected release date is the 28th of November

It's almost funny to predict she'll be home around Thanksgiving...

You are totally correct. I usually try to put myself in the shoes of a perpetrator, to understand the "why", the thought process. Usually you can piece it together. Its wrong, it is immoral, twisted, evil, etc, but you can connect the dots as to why and how they got to that point. But sometimes I can't do it. And I have to remind myself, "stop. You can't figure this out, or relate to it, because there is no sense to it." This person doesn't think like I do, their mind is wired different or is just twisted. I can understand why they do specific acts, to avoid detection, but the underlying "why" commit the crime at all, it is just beyond my grasp.
