I'm not so sure of this "life without parole" thing. KFI radio is reporting she might have a possibility of parole after 25 years. Also, this L.A. Times story says "life with the possibility of parole".

she will be sentenced to 27 years to life, I think that is because they are sentencing her under the statute as it was when crime was committed not what it would be today,
she is 52 on the day of sentence if she only serves the 27 years (which is highly unlikely) then she will be 79 upon release - but I doubt she will ever be a free woman again
Not sure if the photo at the link was taken when the verdict was read but she looks shocked.

Hold on a minute. According to today's L.A. Times, she could be out in as little as 14 years!
