Authorities responded to reports of three gunshots fired around 8 a.m. (11 a.m. ET) Tuesday in the basement of Naval Medical Center San Diego's Building 26, medical center spokesman Mike Alvarez said.

Alvarez said the incident is being treated as if it's an active shooter situation.

"An active shooter has just been reported in building #26 at Naval Medical Center San Diego," Tuesday morning's post reads. "All occupants are advised to run, hide or fight.

"All non-emergency response personnel are asked to stay away from the compound."

Kevin Dixon, Public Affairs Specialist, U.S. Navy is live on CNN and states a "single person" reported hearing 3 shots. Also said, basement is gym and barrack combo.

Only 1 person heard it?

Nice to see the word fight listed. Sadly weapons are not allowed on military bases so fighting won't be easy.

They have armed military at this facility. Let me try to find a link.

Military bases are "gun free zones". Yes the military police would be armed but the people locked in offices hiding from the shooter wouldn't be. Ironic since in most states regular private citizens can be armed at their work place but our military can't.

Sounds like this was a false flag, lock downs at schools being lifted.
