Good thoughts, Whisperer. Foreclosed house. I want to share an experience I had with a foreclosure. Strange things happen in them. A realtor took us to look at a foreclosure in Encino. It was a pretty nice area but the house was really run down. The realtor went to show us the 2 car garage. There were 2 large carpets rolled up in the center. The realtor started to kick one of the rolls and said something about wondering why those were there. Just when he was about to give it a kick I saw hair sticking out of each of them. I started to wave my hands NO! frantically. We hightailed it out of the house to our cars. The realtor called the police thinking they were dead bodies. When the police arrived the carpets were unrolled and obviously whomever was in them snuck out of the house! I will never forget how scary that was!

They weren't dead... just deadbeats!

Squatters?

Incredibly scary!

Yes it was! This happened a long time ago and to this day whenever we go look at houses I am afraid of the garage!

I don't blame you!

I would definitely have PTSD from THAT experience, too!:what:

Take a look at the parcel of 18 Paquita Espana. Look at the bldgs. This is a recent pic. You can see the huge road that wraps around the entire property. To exit the back yard and go to the fron driveway, there is an electronic gate.

The Iron gate that sits on the cul-de-sac was never utilized but this back gate is.

This looks like a working property as does the property to the right. Do you think any stranger who had brains would risk any seeing him. IMO, it would be very risky...unless, he knew for sure no workers would be around or was he himself an employee.

The other half is trying to fix the file of sierra's tweets as i type. i believe we have them all that twitter will allow. read elsewhere someone only got back to late dec on the actual twitter page so i have all that is possible afaik. Almost 3 months of data and 3200 tweets.

please dm me when any particular statistical analysis you want. i am unsure how easy it'll be, while i worked with excel and statistics before i became a sahm, that's 9 years ago and i dunno how i'll go using google docs. im most keen on narrowing down if she did tweet before school frequently, and her most frequent time on. word searches will be much easier.

No, I think it gave me gray hair though!

Ever since I was little, I read mysteries. That is all I ever wanted to read. I read every Nancy Drew. The library even let me put a little X in pencil on the inside cover so I would know I had already read it.

I don't know why certain cases get my attention more than others but Holly Bobo's and Sierra's have. I just wish I could help.

Other than someeone close by in the driveway, the only other scenario is her walking that last 1/4 mile through the fields. That means the dogs were wrong and she was abducted elsewhere and not at the house.

Do you mean you think Sierra took a short cut to the bus stop?

Thank you to you and Mr. Ozazure!
I am looking forward to reading spreadsheets of tweets.
I am not real tweet literate, so this will help me immensely! (as well as the other sleuthers, too!):seeya:

It was 1/2 mile to the bus stop. The first half (1/4 mi) is residential; the last half (1/4mi), all farmland..

I never thought of a shortcut...now, that's interesting..

The fact that this lot (18 Paquita) has soooooo many "mystery" buildings and unknown potential businesses has intrigued me for quite a while.

There seems to be many places to hide in wait.

And we know that perps are risk takers, some more than others, and would attempt an ambush in very risky conditions!

If you assume that Kidnaper knew that Sierra walked to the bus stop everyday you think they would try to kidnap her somewhere between the bus stop and her house of all the places the kidnapper was likely to be caught in the act it would be at the house which makes me think that the person was someone she knew and perhaps she walked in the opposite direction to the bus stop that day was she meeting someone somewhere?

I can't figure out. The only thing I get is someone working on the property or near the property...and that only hold up if the dogs are 100% accurate...or close.
