I find it hard to believe that anyone with asthma has only one inhaler...my husband has asthma and has about 15, they are everywhere...yet he never seems to take one with him when he leaves the house...

Ive seen that some gray shoes are missing, don't know if that was added later to the description or what...but nothing more specific as far as I know...although Sierra posted that her red shoes were her "Friday" outfit...so who knows...

I am still puzzled that we can know the shoes that aren't missing are
Red Chuck Taylor Converse.

But, the shoes that are evidently reported missing are just gray shoes?
I've seen some say they were sneakers.
I have not seen that explicitly stated. But, I suppose we can assume this?
Were they Nike's, Addidas, Reeboks, different Converse, etc?

Even if Marlene didn't know, LE could surely have gotton that easily from her friends.

It stands to reason that Sierra has more than one inhaler. But I would bet neither parent knows exactly how many she has on hand at any given time. They probably get refills of the prescription every month paid for by health insurance, but if the inhalers from the previous month are not empty those would continue to be used. Most asthmatics from time to time will find themselves with half a dozen inhalers on hand, or even more.

My prescription is for two rescue inhalers per month but right at this moment I could not tell you how many I have on hand. I get my prescription filled every month whether I need them or not so that I can hoard them during the months when I am less symptomatic, to have extras on hand during the months I need more than the prescribed two. I think the only time anyone would know exactly the number they have would be if they do not have health insurance that covers the purchase. That would make a person less likely to be able to hoard the way most asthmatics do.

In most missing person cases you will hear that the person would not have left a specific item or items behind if they planned on being gone for an extended period of time.

IMO, the statement about the inhalers came about because when a teen is missing there is always the chance that they are a runaway. IMO, Marlene mentioned inhalers left behind in order to emphasize that she believed her daughter had not run away.

I have Advair as well, but I never take that with me when I go out for the day. It is used once in the morning and again at bedtime. So if Sierra has that or some other brand of steroid inhaler it would be reasonable for her to leave it at home when she goes to school. OTOH, if she were running away from home, she would probably take it.

I read somewhere that the red Converse shoes were used as Sierra's scent for the dogs. It wasn't anyone official and occurred about the same time when the grey shoes came into play. I remember thinking, "That makes sense because she was wearing a grey jersey/sweatshirt/shirt and that explains why she wasn't wearing the red chucks because the shoes were left at home."

My son has two and he uses it once a day for his allergic asthma. If she has regular asthma then she definitely has more.

During the Presser re the found purse, it was questioned as to where the cell phone text was sent from and LE stated her house

Now the bus came usually at 7:24 and Sierra's mom said Sierra usually got to the bus stop about 7:15.

A neighbour, Iris said she usually sees Sierra on Doherty Ave around 7am walking to bus stop too.

But the morning she goes missing, she's still at home at 7:11 sending this text?????

WHY? and did she really send it, it doesn't seem like her timing would be that far out.

Sorry if it is a repeat from early days, sleuthers, but I never saw it before and it sends my personal ideas/theory sky high, the mystery thickens at home territory.

Question about cadaver dogs:

If a person dies in a home and is removed immediately--say, within 5 or 10 minutes of their death--would cadaver dogs be able to hit? I am sure you might find a few extremely talented dogs who could but would an average or even a little better than average trained dog be expected to hit where a body had been for just a matter of minutes?

So the question is, does the perp live there near Laguna rd where he left the clothing? Cardoza tells us that the perp is likely somebody with strong ties to the community. That rules out any of Sierra's friends from Fremont.

We have to be looking at a pedophile as a strong possibility. By Cardoza's statement, it also rules out the farm workers. It appears LE may have a profile of the perp. Typically it is white guy, mid 30's, etc. Don't know what is in their mind with this one..

I am curious as to how Sierra got into a vehicle and disappeared. Did she walk out of the house and was approached at the doorstep? Or did she walk to the end of the driveway, close to the house where the iron gate is (not the one between the pillars).

IN my mind, the only cover a car would have is coming out of the second gate, facing the cul-de-sac. It would be parked as if it was leaving the inside gate to the back of the property. Any other view is taking a chance of being seen.

Do we have a floorplan of the house? Could someone have come through the back entrance?

How did the perp restrain her. Were the handcuffs part of the scheme. This girl is feisty and athletic..don't see her going in the vehicle easily. If she left from the driveway w/o screaming and fighting the whole time, why?.. if she was driven to the back of the house, out of the sight of everyone, then subdued, that would make sense. Was that gate open? Were the workers back there that early....very unlikely they'd be there at that hour.

Knowing the time of the phone toss would be beneficial. I thought it was within a few minutes of her last text, but can't remember.

Thanks, that was I said 4 pages back that this started at the home because of what was left behind. This is what I think may have happened, that she was on the phone, maybe the door bell rang and she runs down to answer it and it is someone she didn't want to let in or didn't know. Home invaders in my area, stand off the side after they ring the bell, so you can't see them. You open the door to peek out and they rush you. So that is one thing that could have taken place. They drag her out, take her purse and books, but no inhaler or charger, and then after they are done with her, hid her body, but strew stuff around to make sure it is all lead away from the house, and away from him or her. LE are on top of this, they are not stupid.

Interesting comments about the bag being packed and the items which are missing. Very interesting indeed. It makes me consider other thoeries which I will refrain from stating here...as well as still standing in the belief that it's a local person who took her.

More of wierd behaviors from a male with a hoody in another local area to where this occurred. They are looking for a person who has been doing similar acts to women who walk alone.
