Regarding being arrested at the Safeway and LE fear for another young girl being abducted.

Found this discussion on another forum (don't know if I'm allowed to say which one). It is a link to 3 other attempted assaults in the Safeway parking lots in 2009. Sounds like the 3 that LE disclosed today. Note the sketch and read the article.

So if this is him, no wonder they made the arrest when he was at Safeway.

The man fled when a passerby heard the woman’s screams.All three women offered similar descriptions of their attacker. Police are searching for a man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing about 200 pounds

If he's just 21 now they were way off on his age (no biggie) & like I said earlier this SOB is STUPID! Attacking women in a public parking lot?

eta..For someone so STUPID where is Sierra's body????

omg.. the press release on that case is so creepy! He was dressed all in black and was "hitting his leg and grunting"

I don't think he was arrested, like someone mentioned in the last thread in that wife beater shirt.

If you notice his mug shot, he has a red shirt on and in the raw video, the reporter asks one of the Det's if this man is the man in the Lamar disappearance and that Det is carrying a bag, that looks like it contains some more of his cloths.

I just think they needed to take pictures of maybe tattoos on his body and they took both shirts off and he only put one back on.

He was arrested, he is in the system. The link is on the last thread. He is being held on NO BAIL murder charge as well as kidnapping.

I get the feeling that Sierra and those three other attacks were not the only ones. Someone that smug has been getting away with it for a while.

Without a body or witness, the murder charge may be hard to convict. If he tells where she is, it not only becomes MUCH easier, but may also open him up to additional charges (rape, etc.) once her remains are recovered.

There is no incentive for him to tell. If he gets an attorny and they see what the prosecutin case sonsists of, it may be his best course of action, but I don't think he'd gain any advantage by telling right now.

Nope, we've had prosecutions here in the Bay Area without a body and gotten convictions. Famous one recently was Hans Reiser- insisted his wife had fled to Russia, upon sentencing he gave up the body...

In the pictures I've seen of him, he looks much older than 21.

I wouldnt be surprised to find out he was linked to all 3, and many, many more.

I am a firm believer when the suspect is finally caught there will be more victims before the arrest. Especially with sexual predators.

And it is quite common for the assauts to esculate to murder.

I think this man has done this same thing in the past. I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if he has already killed several others before Sierra.

My heart just breaks for this family.

Not to sound cold, but I assume that Sierra's family has known this for a while. I am very sympathetic to them, but also imagine the pain this SOB's wife is experiencing right now. She has to be shocked, scared, ashamed, and really questioning her ability to tell good people from bad. That poor girl.

I have a few questions that will probably never be answered. Why would this guy fold sierra's clothes, why not just toss them inside the bag...was he trying to stage a runaway? Never heard of someone doing that. When the sheriff said that his DNA was found on her property, was she referring to her personal belongings or her driveway?

Not routinely, they can wear their own shirts, but red is Safeway's logo color...

That is exactly how I understood it too Lava! They are basing it off of her not being in contact with friends or loved ones, her personal belongings being found, and the fact that they know that he took her.

It really doesn't sound like they have anything definitive except years of working on cases like these to come to the conclusion that she is dead. Unfortunately, I think that they are right. Why would he keep her alive unless he sold her?

If he knew she was alive, certainly he'd tell LE where to look for her to save himself from murder charges.

IF (and that is not confirmed) he was a Safeway employee, I would expect him to have proper documentation to work in the US.

SS said that he does not work at Safeway. They just arrested him in the Safeway parking lot.
