Lucero Garcia, 26 called the arrest "unfair." She said she realizes how it sounds when family members of criminal suspects speak out on their behalf, but "I honestly feel they don't have enough evidence to convict him."

ABC / KGO is reporting that searchers are now searching in the water at Uvas Reservoir, 8 miles south of Sierra's home.

Ok, that's on the other side of where Anderson Lake is, but it's about the same distance.

Watching this I felt such violence, which is not usually like me. I thought, "Bet ya' wouldn't be so smug if this was China and they were taking you to be shot, right away, in some field." I also thought how nice it would be to take him down in some jail basement and smack the smug out of him.

Again, not like me. I'm glad we have due process and don't condone brutality, etc. But seeing that and knowing what he did to Sierra and her family, my passions have overridden my logic!



I bet he's an organized killer. He seems to fit the profile:

Which means she could be in that small radius. If he grabbed her, hurt her and then disposed of her clothes, she must be close, or did he come back to the area he found her and disposed of her things?

So we're presuming that he attacked people that went to his Safeways. The victims must have never gone to the same one again otherwise wouldn't you think they would remember him? They gave pretty good descriptions for the sketches.

Right - case seems pretty cut and dry to me. DNA on her stuff and evidence in his car, which was seen in numerous serveilience videos in the areas she was last seen and her stuff was found? Right, not enough evidence.

Furthermore, he is also linked to at least one incident in a series of at least three assaults on women in the parking lots of Safeway stores in Morgan Hill, on Tennant and East Dunne avenues, Smith said.
Those attempted assaults which were “not completed” occurred in March 2009. The suspect, who was never identified or arrested, confronted three women on separate occasions near their parked vehicles at night. The suspect entered the vehicles and locked the doors and attempted to assault the women. He was scared off by passersby or the victim’s resistance in all three incidents.
The suspect used a Taser on one of the victims, and punched another of the female victims in the string of assaults. Smith did not say which of the three incidents Garcia-Torres was linked to.
Police produced an artist’s rendering of the suspect shortly after the Safeway attacks, and even recovered his Taser, but the crimes were never solved.

She may be standing by her husband. She might believe he is innocent.

Probably not anymore. I was married to a sociopath for 2 years. I knew he was "off" but he swore he loved me and that I was imagining things. I wanted to believe I had been right about his character. Even when I left, I continued to believe he was sort of a bum, but mostly harmless. It was not until 5 years later that I found out he was a monster. I had to be TOLD, but once I was, there wasn't even a second of doubt. I knew I was hearing the truth. It made all the pieces fit together.

3 months right? So they could have figured it out in March. Do we know how old their kid is now, did I read 3? If so, that kid would have been born in 2009. I'm not sayin I'm just sayin.

What I find strange, but I correlate really awfully sometimes, the attacks started around 2 years ago in this area, correct?

ya know I don't know why family members have to be like this.

If one of my children did this, I would be the first to agree their guilty, if I've seen or heard the edvidance and it pointed to them.

Doesn't mean I wouldn't still love them and support them, but I wouldn't be sticking up for them.
