Well as far as we know it's only been there a few days but could have been longer. But i would think it would have been hard for Torres to tote around a garbage can in his vehicle without notice since he had been being watched 24/7. So I'm guessing and could be wrong, but guessing this is not Sierra. JMO

Mind you, they said "LOCATED" in reference to her clothes, inhaler, etc. They did NOT say where.... Important details that will come out later.

Yes I am hoping that some of these items were in his car or his home...

Based on what has been mentioned in one of the links above, this neighborhood where the body was found is a very expensive and exclusive area.

The inhaler, keys, small objects could of fallen out of her bag and he didn't notice it. jmo

One could make it from Morgan Hill to that location in two hours. Not THAT far north.

I'm not saying that the milage couldn't be done, just saying that unless she was kept alive somewhere, or she was put inside that trash can somewhere near Morgan Hill/surrounding areas first, it is in my opinion highly unlikely that it's her. MOO

I'm confused. The news reports say the can contained what 'looked to be human remains' and it is not yet known if it is a male or female. Where did the picture of the stretcher come from?

I so agree with you. What struck me from the below link. I truly hope and believe they must have more.

Clothing:
Forensic Examination of the clothing revealed the presence of DNA foreign to Sierra. The profile of the foreign DNA was entered into CODIS, which is an FBI database that stores DNA profiles. .... a search of the database identified a STRONG association between the foreign DNA from Sierra's clothing and DNA profile of Antolin Garcia Torres.

Car:
Garcia-Torres lived about 7 miles from Sierra's home and drove a 1998 VW Jetta. On 4/7/2012, investigators seized the Jetta and submitted it to the crime laboratory for analysis. Criminalists located DNA foreign to Antolin Garcia Torres within the car and found a STRONG association between that foreign DNA and DNA profile of Sierra LaMar.

All of her known personal belongings, including her asthma inhaler, her money her house keys and the clothing SHE WAS WEARING THE MORNING OF HER DISAPPEARANCE, have been located.

So, they now say they KNOW what she was wearing the morning she disappeared. Is that based on her clothes showing signs of being worn or based on that all along they knew her exact clothes but didn't want to let on about that part, so they kept saying, we don't know what she was wearing. If they KNOW they are the clothes she was wearing, how do they KNOW? Do they have a picture from a surveillance video? Was the picture of her sticking out her tongue actually from the morning of March 16th, so they know she had on that Sharks jersey that morning. Still, that doesn't prove she had on those clothes. Where is the proof of the clothes she had on if no one she knows saw her after 6am, when I assume she wasn't dressed yet.

Ahh...the possibilities. I wonder if LE reads this sight and thinks we're all cukoo for coca-puffs.

:silly:

I have driven 680 many times - it's a commute route from the East Bay to the South Bay. There are many upscale communities along it - Danville, San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton. Gets less nice as you approach San Jose. But in the Dublin area it's just rolling hills, very boring to drive. The communities are off the freeway, along roads like Dublin Canyon Road, that meander off into the hills on either side of the freeway. In that area it's sparse enough that you can hike in the hills very close to any of the housing developments.

Two hours? See my post here: I mapped it as 46 miles. Does it really take peeps in CA two hours to drive 46 miles?

LOL, oh it can... But during off hours it's about an hour from point to point.

The areas of focus should be south Santa Clara County and the land bordering our county such as north San Benito County, north Monterey County and east Santa Cruz County.

Two hours is generous. I know someone who commutes from Contra Costa County to San Jose several times per week and that's about how long it takes - during commute hours. In the middle of the day it would be much less.
