I want to raise the question and any possible connection to the Supermarket he worked for. People having gotten annoyed with me for using the name and dwelling on the connection, so I will refrain from using the name. That said, are there any storage facilities/warehouses that they use that would be near by, that he had access to? Think of all the crates, freezers, things like that. Any possible connection there?

As one who also dwelled upon the Supermarket - (remember my asking about dumpsters)...

So I welcome your questions...
Sometimes you get a feeling about something...

Good, delay, more time to find her.

Why? I don't hold it against Safeway that he worked there, or that it was his hunting grounds... I love Safeway! I prefer to shop there over Lucky's when I can afford it. Safeway is so much nicer!!!

I am really fixated on that connection. Just think of all the transportation and containers and freezers associated with a large market like that. I just checked Yelp and it appears there are two Safeways in Morgan Hill. One or two? on Tennant, and one on Dunne. Which one was close to where her clothes were found? Was it close at all?

Jumping off the article today that talked about how complicated this case is and the delays. Something that has been bugging me to no end is the dang bag. The bag was left purposely some place that it would be found and yet it has his DNA on it? Why would he take the time to fold the clothes all clever like, put the bag somewhere far enough off from public view, but close enough for LE to find and then, what, forget that he contaminated it???? It just doesn't make sense. So, if he didn't put it there, then who did? And where does that connection go?

His Girlfriend?

Folding the clothes is what a woman would do.
I think he had help.

I thought about the girlfriend, but was she trying to out him? And would she not fear for her safety if she did? If she was trying to protect him, why place them somewhere to be found?

I'm very concerned that there was someone else involved, and that that someone wanted ATG to take the full fall for it.

I don't believe anyone else was involved. I think that he had the bag in his car when he was returning to town and was dumb enough to just put it where it was found. I don't give him much credit in the brain power department.

I think there is someone else involved also

Unless he offers an explanation for the bag at some point, truthful or otherwise, we won't know why it was there and it could be any number of possibilities.

I lend towards a theory that the crime he committed went faster than he liked, and he spent time with her belongings and perhaps intended to return to spend more time with them. He couldn't take them home, nowhere there to hide them from his partner and mother. There is nothing to suggest there was more than one person involved or his wife or mother had knowledge of this so early in the piece.

I think sometimes we over think the planning criminals do. I don't doubt that some of them take into account forensics, but I imagine for many sexually motivated attacks the planning they do is fantasy based and regarding the logistics of the successful attack ... getting it done without being stopped more than getting away with it. Consequences don't feature heavily in some people's decision making process if at all, not noly when it comes to crime but all aspects of life. He is hardly an example of someone making thoughtful choices for a successful life.

I think by now we'd know if he was associated with Sierra in any way via drugs. She tweeted that she was offered drugs multiple times on her first day at school, she didn't have to go far afield. That's even if she was doing that stuff in Morgan Hill on any regular basis, which from what I gather, she wasn't. But anyway, kids don't usually buy drugs by themselves, they are with their friends. Her friends would have known him also and they don't.

Surely a remote location would be a far better place to dispose of a body than anything to do with a supermarket you no longer work for?? He would likely have no more access than you and I, he would potentially be recognised there, and from what I can see are open 24 hours a day, so no time when no one is around.

I've always thought Sierra folded her own clothes to buy time, or something along those lines...

Agreed. I just read an Anne Rule book where the woman's body was found by her neatly folded clothes. In that case, Rule stated it was most likely done by the victim to 'buy time'.

Rachel Raver and Warren Fulton murder case was shown on Paula Zahn's "On The Case" show...

A scene was depicted showing Rachel neatly folding her clothing and placing her shoes on top of them, trying to buy time as she was forced to take her clothing off by the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 who held her at gunpoint.

Rachel appeared to make a run for it and was shot, and found nearby...

But with Sierra's case there appears to be no struggle at the Juicy purse site, and it even looks like it was placed by cacti to protect it from the cats.

I can go round-and-round with theories... in the end, I can only hope she did not suffer.. poor Sierra.

sniipped-
So, Sierra usually leaves her house to catch the school bus at 7:25 a.m. Her cellphone was found Saturday 20 to 30 feet off the road at an intersection in the opposite direction of the bus. On Sunday, a trained search member found her purse with the clothing even further north near the intersection of Laguna and Santa Teresa.

that purse, what a corundrum
I guess we will never know what, if any, fingerprints, etc were found on the located items beyond the presumed dna...
I am curious if where the purse was located, was searched on Sat or was Sun the first time
