OldSteve, It makes sense that something that powerful may very well cause you to lose control of your bladder. If they are trying to promote stun guns they may downplay that fact. Other articles may be more honest in their assessment of the effects of a stun gun. Thanks for being thorough! It was late and I just read that one article.

One news organization only reporting police investgating possible sighting of Sierra about 20 miles away on Sunday. If she was running away you would think she would be farther away by now. This is one valley away to the west. Heading towards Rt 1 perhaps?

My husband and all of the officers on our force were required to be tased before being allowed to carry a taser on duty. They also went through a lot of training first, way more than the gov't requires, so they would know how to use it proplerly and safely.

They told everyone to empty their bladder completely right before being tased to avoid any mishaps! They were also trained to administer one shock, not several in a row. I suspect that a criminal with evil intentions would be likely to use it in a much more brutal manner.

Now, that's a taser, not a stun gun, but the work on the same principle. The taser's electrodes are projectile but the stun gun's electrodes stay attached to the gun.

There was an attempted kidnapping a "few blocks away" from Sierra. I read this on comments. It is heresy from me but the woman speaking was upset; it was her niece. The Perpatrator was in a green truck. This was on the Thursday after Sierra. I won't post pictures or links because they get deleted even if I censor out the names.

Now I am seeing more articles written about attempted kidnappings, one in a red sedan? And then on the newest article there is a comment where one guy said Off bascom and newhall road someone tried to abduct his friends daughter in a red car. This is scary! This is all recent. If you want to research you can find this info yourself. Wow, what a world we are living in! I am so scared for my two absolutely gorgeous daughters. Just yesterday I happened to look up sex offenders. I have two whose apartments I can see from my house. I keep my daughter indoors. She does not play in my neighborhood, I take her to a nicer neighborhood or park. I'm angry this is my daughters world.

I pretty sure if you look in Santa Cruz Co./San Benito Co. there are others, not sure if it fits the 4 month window, but recently. Sadly, there may be no connection, it's far too common around here.

I never heard of this kind of thing in San Mateo County (North of Santa Clara), that would be extremely rare.

He seems uniquely talented at translating of descriptions by witnesses.

Polly Klass friends gave that Richard Allen Davis description to a tee...amazing.

Pre-pubescent girls are the best. I don't think there is another group of people that can tune into a perp like that group. They notice the faces and how people dress more acutely than adults do.

I can't imagine myself letting my daughter as a teenager walk to that bus stop alone and stand out there in the middle of nowhere. Undoubtedly, this is were the stalker observed her for awhile. The parents must have truly believed Sierra would never be in danger. Coming from a DOC background and dealing with these perps constantly, I am hyper vigilant on this sort of thing...to a point of ridiculousness.

I spent much of my time in DOC questioning these a'holes and trying to find out what makes them tick. Scared the bejessebies out of me. The main thing is they want what they want (sex) and don't care about anything else. They are achieving gratification at another's expense (never their own, if you get my drift) and don't care what you think about it either. Narcissistic 's

Teach your sons too, and from a young age! My kids have always known not to make a lot of noise (i.e. screaming while playing) outside unless they are in trouble. Trouble means someone is injured badly or someone is trying to talk to or take them. And then they are to scream as loud as possible, hit, kick, bite, scratch, etc. Kids can take self-defense classes too.

Also, it is important to teach children that bad people don't always look bad and sometimes, you know them. They know that there are only three people they are allowed to go somewhere with, without me giving them explicit instructions otherwise. For instance, in an emergency situation where I couldn't get them from school, they can go with their step-father or grandparents without me telling them about it beforehand.

If she was being stalked and watched when she was in the remote area by the bus stop, IMO it would have ben easier to grab her there...Rather than enter the cul de sac and drive to her driveway... high risk of a vehicle being spotted there...MOO

The typical profile of this sort of thing is white male, early thirties, not married.

Most of all the migrant workers I've come across are law-abiding people but what if there was one that had a bad criminal past or was not like the others working out in that area. Have they all been accounted for or are some running scared because of LE presence? We have an unincorporated area up here and there sure are many 911 calls from that neighborhoood. It has to be taken into consideration given the population in these areas that migrant workers may know something/someone...but are afraid to speak.
