It is time for me to put myself in the corner for awhile, as I don't see this going forward. We don't have much to discuss. We have more we are not allowed to talk about than we have facts we can talk about.

I am discouraged right now...and have learned a lesson. I was taken to school on this case.

:offtobed:

Oh, whisperer, I can certainly understand your discouragement. I've been following this case closely ever since it was announced on KGO news on March 16. Probably too much time on my hands recently but this case is consuming. You are a top notch contributor here, and I have learned a lot from your posts.

Hopefully, you'll feel better after a good night's rest. My mom always said to me, "Things always look better in the morning."

Take good care of yourself.

Before you buy that weapon, please read Gavin de Becker's The Gift of Fear. It is absolutely the best read on self defence I have ever read. It makes sense, it is practical, it is written by someone who has been there, done that and lived to tell the tale.

I have weapons and have since I was just a wee thing. I am armed and dangerous. I LOVE The Gift of Fear. I also LOVED M. Scott Beck's book The Road Less Traveled. And then I bought his other book People of the Lie: The Hope For Healing Human Evil. I couldn't READ it past a few chapters. It was horrific. I just didn't want to read anymore about what he experienced as "evil". I stupidly watched a movie (online) called There's Something About Kevin. I didn't read the book, but I wish now that I had never watched that movie. UGH.

I know you live in another country. You use too many "u" that American's don't. I get that.

This is what I was trying to say I imagine my response would be, I think I would just keep thinking "When he turns his back I'll..." or other such thoughts.

You also said you think more victims would fight back with the advantage of a weapon or other such security, this is what I feel as well. I am actually considering getting a weapon after a lifetime of not believing in carrying one under certain legal point that I seem share... with myself :blushing: I just do NOT want to be defenseless! I'm so SCARED to know this world as it is. The hippie in me is losing strength and the paranoid uptight gun-weilding crazy pants is gaining control! (Those are all descriptive words that describe ME and not describing those with guns).
I am going to loan you my 125 lb German Shepherd. (He has decided that he only sleeps on the couch which is where I want to sit and now can't.) LOL

Ebay has pepperspray.

Say whaat ? Your insights are great. And I have learned a lot from your descriptions of Sierra's house and that cul de sac. No one else but you mentioned the fact that there were many vehicles around Sierra's house, and the fact that there were farm workers living in back of her house... And the fact that the iron gate in front of her house was usually left open... IMO those are the kind of facts which can lead some place...

JMO..Annie...I so agree with your mom.
I personally see things in a brighter way after a good night's rest.

And Whisperer...don't give up the fight. You are fighting for Sierra, and the others who can't use their own voices.
Blessings to you all, Fellow Sleuthers!

Dive teams search reservoir again for Sierra

Divers spent most of the day at the Uvas Reservoir and ended the day at the Chesboro Reservoir. They are the two reservoirs closest to Sierra's home.

Out of about 2,000 sonar images that the dive team honed in on, about a dozen produced curious objects that they wanted to rule out as potential evidence in this case

The search of Uvas involves checking out eight items of interest that was captured by a high-tech sonar device. On Thursday, divers ruled out five items of interest at Chesboro

As far as the cats are concerned.... I hope they can send the perp away to prison forever because they find cat food lodged in the tread of his tires where he parked to stash Sierra's purse!

From your heart and keyboard to God's ears. :please:

I am curious too, but is that the actual name, cannot find anything. Lots of stuff on a book and movie called "We need to talk about Kevin" is that it?

I wish I'd never seen " Megan is Missing". It always makes me think the worst in these cases. :(
