This is the first I've posted about Sierra and if what I'm going to say has already been posted, please forgive me.

I'm wondering about the high school older male students, hopefully LE has gotten the names of those who drove on a regular basis, and found out who attended on the day Sierra went missing and who didn't or were late for class.

Also, the places that Sierra and her friends hung out, fastfood places, bowling alleys, putt putt golf places, actually anywhere where she may have met someone older that seemed interested in her, and may have told a co-worker, or that her friends may have noticed.

Is it just me, but I get the impression Sierra went to school, then went home, and that was her life. Has anyone figured out from her social media places she liked to hangout?

The police determined early on that Sierra is not a runaway after they had investigated. They firmly believe she was kidnapped by an aquaintance or a complete stranger. Personally I think it is someone from her own neighborhood. Maybe a neighbor or a worker that comes into that area often.

I guess it is all about individual perceptions. It is obvious that Sierra is of most importance to Marlene. That IS what Marlene wanted to talk about. Sierra. Asking for help in finding Sierra and not dwelling on the side issue about Rick who the police has already said wasnt involved in her disappearance.

No, it is not usual. The police does not elaborate. They know they owe the public none of the details. They arent there to quench the public's need to know.
They know all about where these three were that day and they are the only ones that count and need to know.

Sorry, we dont rate when it comes to LE and our 'want to know isnt important to LE.

I dont think she was vague. She answered it twice that he left before she did and then, imo, due to being tired, she got it backwards. But she knew Sheriff Smith was also on the show and listening to everything she had to say. That is why she said "LE knows' and of course they do know the correct timeline.

I agree with what you're saying but I guess it's all down to personality- I would not end the interview and I would not- when NG explains why I am giving the impression that I am being defensive continue to be vague- I'd be all like 'this is exactly what happened etc so people would stop maybe pointless speculation and concentrate on- this-can-not-be-a-possibilty and focus on what can. I am very careful in voicing my feelinkg after Madeline McCann as the parents were blamed by many and I think it is obvious they had no idea what happened to their daughter IMO

On an offside point this case has me paranoid- we live in a small village in Ireland where primary school kids walk home from school alone (5 minute walk) and many preteens are latch key kids where the neighbours act as pseudo parents. My daughter was 2 and ran down the estate road 10 yards away from me and a mother had already come out the house and grabbed her as I was running after her. I used to hitch hike 20km to school when I missed the bus from 13 years on (but that was 20 years ago lol *sigh). I grew up being sent 'out to play' and we'd come home when we were hungry and we had no phones and climbed trees (and fell out of them) and wandered for miles without a care in the world...

No Sierra would tweet about having to stop using her cell after 9 that is why she would than switch to her laptop. She was smart kid IMHO.

On another note about Rick you know I think I know why he is out of the limelight and it makes perfect sense to me. Sierra is not his daughter she is Marlene's and Steve's. I'm sure out of the glare of the media spotlight he is giving all the support he can to the family.

So totally agree about switching from cellphone to laptop. lol. Kids!!!

I agree about Rick and his sister has been at the vigils to support SL's family.

JDB, I fully agree...I was just substantiating why her mom may have set a curfew on her phone....she also commented many times that she had her phone on vibrate all the time, this could also of been because the ring annoyed her mom. My kids all have cells, and the rings drive me nuts totally. Some are rap songs, some are "I am watching you", some are crazy sounds, rings are not always rings on the cell phone.

Also the home Ransom posted is actually a business which is listed as F, the offender lives in C which is much closer to Monterey.

I agree JDB. He is doing this out of respect for Marlene and Steve who he knows is Sierra's parents.

Thank goodness the media has left this man alone so he can make a living.

I am glad they aren't hounding him and running him down like they do a lot of other people in some cases.

Thanks liltexans for the update and link!!.. I am certainly glad to hear there is forward movement tho, of course what that is or even could even hint at is still totally unbeknownst to us at this point.. I am ok with that and absolutely understand the reason that they proceed forward in this manner..

IMO it will be very soon enough that we will be able to see and tell for ourselves what possibly the results were that were yielded from the thorough forensic testing that was done on the multiple items just that we know of that are/are not involved In the case..

I do pray that Cardoza's words are true and that this will take them on an expedited route directly to where Sierra is.. And will be praying extra hard for the so many who love Sierra that will very likely be experiencing a pain and anguish most of us cannot even imagine if leading to Sierra means the God awful confirmation of it being the worst outcome that any could have imagined from the evening of March 16th when they first learned that Sierra was gone.. I pray if that be the outcome that God grant them ATLEAST the solace in knowing where she is and giving her a burial with the utmost respect and dignity that this young girl more than deserves.. My thoughts and prayers with her many loved ones tonight :hug:

The pattern that the items were tossed is a perfect L from Sierra's home. I believe this was a planned kidnapping and she was taken right from in front of her home. I think her phone was tossed out of the car first and then her bag and I think these things were done to rid her of anything personal, he was taking her and didn't want any of her stuff, I think he drove right out of town. Maybe he is from a town over. This was not a crime of opportunity. She is not in no reservoir, she is either on his property or buried somewhere. Mo..

So similar to Holly Bobo too.

I agree with it being planned but I'm leaning more towards a trafficking angle. My only question is whether she knew the person & if they had been grooming her.

HE also says to the FAMILY: take lie detector test, cooperate 100% with LE, etc. So far LE has said the "family" has done that.

You can also use a "spokesperson" as Sharon Rocha did to deal with the "press". Natalee Holloway's mom got reamed by message boards for all sorts of "dumb &^%$ stuff", as far as I was concerned, about her looks, clothes, hair, divorce(s), that they were perceived to have too much $/and or their friends, her southern accent, etc.

I wouldnt fault Marlene if she never went back on Nancy's show. I really wouldnt. Marlene has enough on her plate without the subject veering of course and not talking about how to help her find her daughter. Nancy did drop the subject fast. She already knew her inside sources had already told her that neither Rick, Marlene or Steve is involved in this.

Yes, times have certainly changed. Kids are connected constantly with their friends via their techy toys now.

We have 12 grands and one on the way and of course I do worry about them but I worry more about the teen grands getting into a vehicle with someone who either drives recklessly trying to impress the group or speeds home from school or when they are out and about with their friends.

It was stated that they were given polygraphs. Of course that never comes from LE but Steve mentioned it.

No she did not say anything untoward against any of the three.

And isnt it strange? All media outlets constantly have the national news channels on in the media room when it is concerning a case they are reporting on and NOT ONE MSM article has ever been written about SSs late date of no one is ruled out after her own personnel said they were.

That shows me they trust the officers that first told them all three has been ruled out because those Media Officers get their info straight from the lead investigator working the case.

Above BBM for emphasis.. Foxymona, you and me both!!! We may have been raised literally entire continents away from one another(you in Ireland, me in Tennessee, USA) but it certainly sounds as tho our childhood worlds couldn't have been any closer or similar.. Sad to say we are not able to raise our kids "in the world we lived in".. (**near in age we're the same as well if I did my addition correctly above..lol**)
