Thank you for this. I have seen your pleas on Facebook for help finding him. I wish very much I was back there to help you more thoroughly.

With regards to Bakersfield, he and H had tried driving out there a week or two before he disappeared, got lost, and drove around for hours deciding it was an adventure (according to Facebook) I noticed his car was found on a straight shot up there and thought he may have tried to remake that trip for whatever reason they were going there before. Knowing about the ranch comment now puts you in a different direction and that definitely needs to be looked into.

I'm concerned, as I'm sure you are, that he is a recovering addict that had experienced a recent relapse with history of suicidal tendencies based on what you've shared. If there was a break up as well, I think getting a few cadaver dogs through a few miles radius around the car needs to happen if it hasn't already. He deserves to be found no matter what his struggles were.

Cadaver dogs have searched around already.

Quite a few people have been saying to check psych wards and detoxes by Castaic and surrounding areas. I'm not sure if it's protocol for detectives to do that.

I imagine they have already checked hospitals and jails but checking shelters and other community services is a good idea (the Missing & Homeless organization can help with that)

They won’t give cops info based on HIPAA can you believe that?!? My birth son and other friends of theirs went up again this weekend and hung flyers and talked to more people. Nothing new . Some kids have people in the medical field trying to get psych info and askng around rehabs.

Steven is still missing. It’s been a month. I am so devastated. I rec’d a breaking news thing in my email on friday from ABC news talking about an unidentified body found in Santa Monica mountains. Haven’t been able to find another thing on it. Haven’t slept since. THIS IS HORRIBLE

Due to the uncertainty of exactly where on I-5 Steven's car was located, I'm posting this here as well.

Regarding the remains found about 1 1/2 miles from me in the river bed middle Dec. 2018, here is the information for that:
UPDATE: Remains found in wash are of missing Reseda man
The coroner will determine the ID for remains found off Sand Cyn. resulting from vegetation being burned in the #TICKFIRE. In Santa Clarita, more people were thinking these might be tied to William Cierzan. Since I have put 75 days approaching 500 hours searching for Will, the details I had to guide my searches don't give me much hope they have something to do with William.
Concerning this case, unless you tried like I did to find a safe location to pull over on NB I-5 without being hit by the non-stop trucking traffic, along with no LE, tow truck information to have a chance for a successful search effort, this becomes the most difficult type of case to resolve.

Not sure if she ever got verified - I can ask if necessary, but I can assure you she knows him and the family extremely well. I know her in real life. He was like another son to her.
