A manhunt is underway for a suspect who apparently sought out a retired California State University Fullerton administrator and stabbed him to death on campus, authorities said.

A backpack holding an incendiary device and items that could be used for an abduction were found beneath the car in which Steven Shek Keung Chan, 57, of Hacienda Heights, was found stabbed to death, authorities said Monday.
Chan had retired from the school but worked at the international student affairs office as a consultant, officials said.

Pretty darn brazen of the perp. Hoping LE has more than enough evidence and info for an arrest soon. It looks as if the guy is on his phone in one of the photos and that he certainly messed up by leaving his bag behind. Also hope they could get a vehicle tag #.

Cal State Fullerton fatal stabbing: Police have arrested the vicitm's co-worker - CNN

Police have arrested a co-worker in the fatal stabbing of a retired California State University Fullerton administrator, police said Thursday.
...

Fullerton police detectives arrested Chuyen Vo, 51, on Wednesday night at his Huntington Beach residence, Police Chief Robert Dunn told reporters.
"Fullerton police detectives believe based on their investigation that Vo acted alone during the planning and commission of this murder," Dunn said.

My mom was there that morning and I saw on Facebook that someone had been stabbed and immediately panicked. Luckily she answered her phone right away. And she hadn't noticed one thing. They kept the scene pretty contained I guess.

A co-worker due to professional jealousy was on my list of possibilities early on. And if that's what the motive was, WTH? Two lives destroyed over envy?

Is there a reason the media wants to label him as retired(from his previous position) when he was still working there? Is it relevant?

His facial bone structure looks quite chiseled in the drawing and he has a slender build from the surveillance pics.
This act seems personal. I'm confident LE will find this perp and soon.
