Advanced DNA technology leads to naming of suspect in 20-year-old cold case:

• Mexican national Felipe Vianney Hernandez Tellez, 43, was named Thursday as suspect in 1997 rape and murder of a college student in Costa Mesa, California
• Revolutionary 'DNA composite portrait' technique helped cops ID Hernandez
• Photography student Sunny Adrienne Sudweeks was 26 when she died
• Found by her boyfriend, brutally strangled on the bed in their apartment
• For two decades, detectives found no new leads in the cold case
• Then, DNA-generated composite sketch and fingerprint pointed at Hernandez
• Suspect fled back to Mexico in 2006, now living with wife and kids, cops say
• Police think he's near resort of Puerto Escondido, delivering rotisserie chickens
• Cops seek extradition from Mexico to bring Hernandez to face charges

Thank you for the link. This series is very well-written -- compassionate yet bold -- kind of like the spirits of both Adrienne ("Sunny") and her mother. Truly admirable women.

I'm assuming Part 4 will post tomorrow.
