Probably only the morning or afternoon. Judges don’t clear their calendars for one trial. They still have to do all the status hearings and motions hearings for all their other cases. When I heard it was a five month trial I knew there would be many “dark” days also - meaning they don’t have trial on certain days of the week. The system is overloaded. We don’t have enough Judges or courtrooms for the amount of cases there are and that’s considering 99% of cases filed are either settled out of court (civil) or plea bargained out (criminal). It’s a mess

Now I just want to make it clear - I am "guessing" that jury selection is still going on since I haven't found anything about "what" is going on. Once I do - I will correct my notes on what "actually" happened on the certain days.

And as in ALL California cases - no court on Fridays.

Niner, Court TV said the trial is expected to last seven weeks so they may not have a reporter there every day, but when they do it will likely be Julia Jenaé or Chanley Painter. If I find out more I'll let you know.
