Remember the preachers wife who took off during a women of Faith conference, pawned her wedding ring and was gone for several months? Maybe Susan missed her old life and decided to just up and leave. Do we know why they moved? I would think moving to a new place at her age must of not been easy. I think that's harder on women than men. Maybe she was unhappy.

I have wondered about Susan's job/social life/etc in Nevada ( where she and her husband lived prior to Sun City, Roseville, CA, IIRC)....

and have wondered if there is a connection to her disappearance, too...

I have not had luck in finding out much information on her life in Nevada, though...

I have been hoping someone could answer some of these questions....

You know, if Kevin took care of his grandmother, then he sounds like he's a family oriented, caring person. I understand he's an only child and he just had his own child a few months back. I've seen only children being overwhelmed with taking care of their own homes and responsibilities, as well as helping out their parents. I imagine to add to it that his mother is missing and all the things I see families of the missing have to go through, the countless hours of phone calls and letters, trying to get the media involved, getting flyers made and distributed, contacting missing persons advocacy groups, it's got to be daunting.

I'm hoping that way more has gone on behind the scenes then we've been able to see from our perspective. I just hope no one gives up on this lady.

BBM totally agreed. I have made a promise to myself to never give up on her. Even though I don't know what to do to help find her, I refuse to give up on her or forget about her. I bug the Roseville PD and the Patch via Facebook every so often to ask about her... it's not much but at least I hope it sparks them to remember her and realize people still care.

I really don't think she's in this area anymore but I still look for her. I've had more dreams that she was in too - all very brief and none as vivid as that one I posted about before, but I "see" her even in my sleep.

You won't be forgotten, Susan. I can't promise we'll find you (but I can hope!), but I can promise you won't be forgotten.

I don't even know why exactly but this makes me so sad. She should be celebrating her 60th with her family and especially her new grandbaby. I suppose there's still a chance she still will, but realistically I know it's not too likely.

the silence... reminds me of Robert Harrod's case a little and makes me wonder

Thinking of Susan and her recent birthday. If she is still alive, I hope she was surrounded by love and happiness.

Thinking about Susan all day. I'm so sad she missed out on her first grandchild's first Halloween.

the silence is really sad

Yes, it is sad and I don't understand it at all. The holidays are coming up and she should have a lot of "firsts" with her new grandbaby.

I don't feel Susan is with us anymore. I think foul play was involved. By whom, that's the guestion. Where is she? What happened to this beautiful lady???

I think this family thinks she left on her own and does not want to be found. Maybe there were signs or conversations that lead them to this. To me they searched for a while and found nothing now they wait.

way back, wasn't there some public record info found, something about a trust or something? Any one recall that? And Susan's name was on it?
I 'd have to go back and look and see where that thought came from...hmm.

It was a beautiful day here. I'm a warm weather kinda person, but if it must be Fall, today was just gorgeous. Low 70's, still that crisp fall feeling in the air but it was sunny, and warm enough to be great outside for a few hours. I was enjoying the day driving around with my car window down and taking the long way to the store, plus took a little detour through the local park up the street.

This is related to Susan, I promise. Driving through the park I passed the dog park, and also the "little kid" playground where the littlest kids go. Out of nowhere I literally said (yes, aloud) "Susan" and got really choked up. I couldn't stop thinking about what a perfect day it'd be for Susan to be out walking the dog, or playing in the park with her grandbaby.

Wow, wasn't planned but that was my 3000th post. Hard to believe! I'm glad it landed on Susan's thread. :)

Posting this here and to my other Roseville/Rocklin area cases that I've been following (Bryce Laspisa, Stephen Pease). I'm heading out that way again Sat. evening. I'm not comfortable wandering around in the dark by myself, but I'll have hubby with me for most of the time. I'm also comfortable walking in populated areas and looking for posters and such. Is there anything that anyone might want me to look for, or do? I went near both Sun City and the shopping center the other night and didn't really see anything, although I didn't get out and walk around as it was getting dark. I'll have a little more time tomorrow.

I had a weird dream again last night where I kept asking Susan to come 'visit' me (all in my sleep), but that was the extent of it.

Where are you Susan? Thanksgiving is coming soon. I hope you can spend it with your grandbaby.

Very good question, Sre!

Follow the money... Right?
