How sad. The administrator Deleted posts by others on the page for Susan, so all that is shown is Highlights and posts by page, which was Last updated on July 25th, 2013.
That's SAD!! People have enquired about Susan and they delete that??????

Why hide/get rid of posts by others that was Supportive of Susan being found?

What?!? That is incredibly frustrating. I've posted on there and been nothing but supportive. I even heard back from her sister... but you're right, it appears to be either gone or hidden now. Makes me want to cry or scream or something.

I wonder why the page PURPOSELY is not updated? The few comments inquiring about the status of Susan's disappearance were the only current posts. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire page is deleted or set to private in the very near future.

I must note that the family members always maintained that Susan was "shy," a "loner," "not outgoing," etc. Makes me wonder why she was described only that way? Was it to keep inquiring minds away or discourage anyone who reached out to help?

However it had to take a fair amount of effort and time to delete everything and that bothers me a lot. What's wrong with posts asking if there's any news, saying "thinking of you," etc.? I can't help but wonder if it has anything to do with the upcoming 'anniversary' and the push for updated news stories. I realize I could be off base on that, but I wonder.

Dare I hope it means LE has something and they want the family to be quiet while they pursue it? (admittedly, it's a faint hope)

To me, it looks like they don't want inquiring minds to know about Susan, whether she is dead or alive. Remember, the page has Not been updated since July 2013 and she was reported missing in May 2013. That's not long at all to have a familial voice for Susan. There were replies to people because people wanted to know about Susan and cared about Susan, and those replies were on the posts from others. It seems like they did not want to maintain the page, and felt "obligated" somewhat when people continued to ask about Susan. I guess they got tired of the "obligation".
And to think Susan was married 35 years..........
Either Susan ran off and they know it, OR Susan did not run off and SOMEBODY knows what happened to her.
Discouraging people from thinking about Susan makes me think that they don't want something or someone discovered.

Susan I hope you are alive and living a Wonderful life with People that give 2 sheets for you! I get the idea that there was not a lot of SUPPORT in your family, Susan. So Sad!!!!

That's depressing. And it's kinda scary to me. How can this beautiful lady just vanish, fall off the face of the planet and instead of people coming forward with searches and rewards and pleas for her safe return, instead there is a deafening silence and any posts showing support and concern for Susan and her location are deleted? What the H3LL is going on? Where is Susan? What happened to her? Is anyone looking for her? Does anyone besides us CARE???

It's like Out of Sight, Out of Mind.
Whatever skeletons are in people's closets, maybe they don't want them exposed, but I have to tell you, denying the CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE PUBLIC FOR SUSAN, is SAD!!! It's like they don't want to bother, and maybe they know more about what happened to Susan and maybe they are protecting someone.
Are they protecting Susan or are they protecting someone else. Why the silence?? Yes, Scary and Sad!!!!!

One would think with the Upcoming Anniversary, that they would NOT delete the positive friendly caring posts by people on the posts by others page of the missing Susan Facebook page. After all, what better way than to SHOW people on the upcoming anniversary that yes, Susan deserves to be found, Susan deserves her story to be told, Susan has had a support system from the PUBLIC since day one. To delete her support system, makes a newcomer to this case think perhaps that there wasn't any effort by the public at all. And THAT is not the case. There was support by the public,.... now.... support by her own family?, that's a judgment call.. If she has support from her family, they don't want people to know it, in my opinion.......
We haven't forgotten about you Susan.
They can't delete you from OUR minds, even though it looks like you have been deleted from theirs, and that is My opinion. No updates on her missing Facebook page since July, and she only went missing several months prior, no happy birthday to her on October 25th, no happy anniversary whenever that was (unless the anniversary is between now and her missing anniversary date, no Merry Christmas Susan we miss you ,we are still looking for you, no Happy New Year Susan, wherever you are we will find you, no message to the "kidnapper" to let her go (as it has been publicly said they believe she was kidnapped and foul play occurred).
Susan you will not be forgotten BY ME!! I continue to think about you!!!!!!!!!

Maybe there's dissension among the family.....Maybe Susan's sister wasn't supposed to respond, by other people's opinion in the family???, in my opinion.
If Susan's son is the administrator who deleted the posts, then he doesn't want to know that the public cares. And that is one way to shut off responses to people's questions, now Susan's sister CAN'T respond to Anyone's questions.......
I suppose people could ask questions under the posts by the administrator, but I bet those will go unanswered and in time the page will disappear soon, is what could happen I suppose. They obviously don't want Supportive Posts by people.

Yes, the POSTS BY OTHERS is MISSING, under the highlights.
Now I can see a cached version.... and those posts by others were from March 2nd and before.
It was deleted on purpose. GONE.
Under highlights you can only see "Highlights", and "Posts by Page".
The Posts by Others is GONE, UNLESS you go to the CACHED VERSION.

And let me just say that when I say DELETED, I mean that it isn't there. It is Possible that the administrator DISABLED the POSTS BY OTHERS, which would make it disappear...kinda like that facebook page for Heather Elvis, as at times the posts by others was DISABLED ON PURPOSE. But as far as I am aware, there have been positive thoughtful posts about Susan. There is no need to disable posting.

I will give the benefit of the doubt since I would think they do want people to care.....I HOPE they are moderating and will put the posts by others back up. I don't like feeling that they deleted/disabled that post by others page on purpose, so I changed my mind in Hopes that they do reconsider putting the Post By Others page back up.
Only time will tell. Maybe if they weren't moderating and decided to drop the posts by others page all together, maybe they will come to realize how much Susan has meant to others.
I can only hope that they did not really want the posts by others to disappear forever.
What is a person to think.....??

If I see a missing person page or a help find page and it's private, I move on. If you have to ask to post or get info, it's not good. I have no idea why the page was cleaned up, and I hoped it was so all new info could be posted, but it seems like it was just the support and comments that were taken down.

Oh, and by the way, the cached version of the posts by others on Susan's Missing Facebook page, the cached version states that it is a snapshot of the webpage as it appeared on 3/22/14, with the last post being from MARCH 2nd from a person inquiring about an update and any news on Susan and people think about her often and would like her to be found, but yet there was NO REPLY from the administrator.
So I don't understand the silence and really would like to give the benefit of the doubt, but why would 20 days pass and that post not only went unanswered, but now the posts by others is disabled or deleted, so it is sad any which way you look at it.

I don't know what to think anymore. I just feel like Susan was given up on by those who are related to her and I don't understand why. As for the rest of us, we are getting no news, and don't have anyway to help anymore.

No searches, no campaign to put up more fliers, no media awareness, now there isn't even a place for us to go to show support and concern for Susan.

There just is something that is not right about all this. Something is way off here. It's like after 2 months of her missing, everything stopped. Everything. Why?

People only act like this for two reasons: a) they got their answers and they want to keep them a secret or b) they knew all along what happened to her and are in cover up mode.

Oh wow you're right, I thought it was just some missing posts but the whole section's gone. Maybe it didn't even take as much time and effort as I thought for it to disappear. I hope there's a positive reason for it. I can't really think of one, but I can hope.
