Why isn't Susan seen on video? If she was picked up by someone, why aren't they on video?
Surely a car, Susan's or someone's would have been seen on video at some point.
Why isn't that information being divulged? Surely with the Quote, unquote WEALTH OF VIDEOS that the police dept. was looking at,
there has to be something, even if something is nothing, why not say it. Why not say More?
IMOO.

I would assume that Susan's car was caught on video at the Raley's. Wouldn't it show her or someone else leaving the car?

Or was the car parked out of range of security camera's? Next time I go to the Raley's near my home I'll look to see if they use parking lot camera's like I've seen at Walmart.

Well, my other theory is she was missing already. This whole scene where her car was found seems staged to me.

Maybe the car was parked in a spot where it would look like Susan was going to do some early morning shopping but wouldn't be seen on video.

The question is, did Susan park the car there or someone else?

Inquiring minds WANT TO KNOW a lot don't we?
Yeah, don't even know when she was last seen by someone other than anyone else living in her home.
As a matter fact, don't even know what her plans were for later that day, later that week, or even month.
so darn sad when the missing seem to lose what voice they (should) have

The last post on her missing FB page was last year. :(

okay - I've taken some of your words and put together a post for my reply to their reply to me:

I think that you (Roseville PD) were responding to this part of my post.
Roseville Police hasn't bothered to do anything to bring her home or to solve what happened to her or how her car got into Raley's parking lot that day.
You just gave me a list of what you have done in trying to find Susan. But that list that the police department gave seems, to me, to be what the police department had done in May, 2013, the early months that Susan went missing.
If the police department has had more searches other than several during those several months after Susan went missing, I haven't read about it.
A better question would be what has the Roseville PD done recently to find Susan?

I'll let you know what they reply to this one!!

I might need to be more rantily in life...
heard back from the reporter-
I had mentioned to him the LAME response you got Niner..that there are people that have followed, and then continued with facts known and facts STILL unknown...and in closing asked if there a county cold case unit it could be passed to if LE in Roseville feels inept.

response-
"I don’t know much beyond what you currently know, though I would point out that Roseville ’s homicide detectives have a better record solving cold cases in recent years than does the county unit you’re referring to. If you have any new leads for us to follow up on, by all means send them. "

So...thems the apples
I sure hope her file isn't collecting dust

any other ideas??

I don't think their video was working!
I don't think they saw anything in that parking lot.

Maybe it's just how I am and how I read words.
"I don't know MUCH BEYOND what you currently know."
To me, that statement implies that the reporter knows MORE than we know, but not much more.
Also the reporter mentioned Roseville's Homicide detectives have a better record solving cold cases in recent years than the county unit.
Is the reporter implying there are homicide detectives working on this case? Are all the detectives considered homicide detectives? Or is that the reporter's judgment,
that he believes this to be a cold case and homicide detectives are working on this particular case involving Susan? Or was the reporter merely answering your questions about
the Roseville police versus county police, but yet Homicide detectives were mentioned.
I need some education, please, on this.
Are there homicide detectives that work every case, or Only work cases they feel a homicide could have occurred or did occur??
IMOO.

this is exactly what I said at the end of my message

"What do you think?? What do you suggest should be done?? Is there a county cold case unit it could be passed to if LE in Roseville feels inept?"

so I am not sure if he was alluding to something with his word choice or if it is just his style, ya know?

fwiw, I had previously emailed him with a list of questions and other stuff that, cough cough, had been researched

so I dunno exactly what he might know that we don't know...

Or he has no clue what all exactly Shre knows and is afraid to spill something that isn't actually know and and risk ruining a connection with a source?

Part of me thinks at some point (possibly even way, way down the road) we're just going to hear, "Oh, Susan was found and her family had private services for her like ____ months/years ago." :dunno:

There are some aggressive reporters and there are some who want to keep in good standing with police. I think the latter here. This is so odd.

I'm afraid this is what I'm thinking too:

Well, my other theory is she was missing already. This whole scene where her car was found seems staged to me.

I can't help but think of the McStay family.

Maybe the car was parked in a spot where it would look like Susan was going to do some early morning shopping but wouldn't be seen on video.

The question is, did Susan park the car there or someone else?

Great questions!

And if whoever saw her last just stays really quiet after the initial flurry of searches, it will all go away, Susan will be forgotten and life can go on.

You all are doing a great job of making sure Susan's voice is heard.

I think Susan would have loved being a grandmother and it makes me sad that he never knew.

Okay - went to see if my reply to RPD was answered by them... it looks like they deleted it, as I don't even see it anymore... :(

Should I post it again??

If you don't, I will! This is beyond ridiculous. I thought LE was supposed to protect and serve.

Yes and make note that your previous statement was deleted!

Not to be difficult but I've had things I posted seemingly disappear before and it turned out I just couldn't find them, especially with Facebook changing their layout every few months. But yes I do think, ask again!

With the holidays coming up again I keep thinking about "my" cases (the ones I follow) from WS and Susan's may well haunt me the most. Some small part of me still thinks she's okay and hiding somewhere, I have a hard time keeping that hope, and I just want to know. I can't even imagine how her family feels.

My husband and I just got back from a long road trip throughout California and Nevada and I couldn't stop thinking how there are SO MANY places someone could be. In Nevada we couldn't find a motel one night and slept in the car between an abandoned building (one of many on that road) and railroad tracks. I kept thinking of Susan and wondering what if she's out there somewhere? In one of those buildings, or in the washes/dry creeks/etc. in between?

Okay - go ahead and post it on Facebook!! I don't want to get into "trouble" with the RPD... LOL!

I did post a nice message asking for an update, but my post disappeared by the next day. What's with that? This is just not right.
