Yes, I remember. His theory was that Susan could be using the facilities for showers, cleaning up if she had disappeared herself or had a medical episode (amnesia?). The problem is that no trace of Susan has been found, IIRC. Nothing adds up here - if she wandered away, or got lost or (gulp) ended her life, she would have been discovered by now. But where to look for her this late in the game. Going east up I-80 toward Reno there are many hiding places. I don't think she is very far away, as occurs in a lot of these disappearances.

Thank you for clarifying the reason for the attorney's request for information regarding the connection... If any... Between Susan and gyms...

Yes... I totally understand...

That is actually why I reposted this known information...

To remind myself... Husband has not been ruled out by LE...

I'm glad you did post it because I kept trying to remember it while I was thinking about him and this whole situation, but I posted it anyway. LOL I needed a reminder from someone other than myself. :)

Good Post! Even though Susan's husband is not a person of interest or suspect, he himself did mention that he would be on the Top of Everyone's List. So knowing that, but yet not addressing Susan's situation, like he Loves Her after 35 years of marriage, and there are No Pleas to the perp to let his wife that he loves, go. Let her come home to her family. There is none of that.
In one article I read, the family just wants a resolution.
I know it is unbearable to have a loved one missing, but their actions are lacking in many many ways, and those actions are Red Flags.
If it is a stranger abduction, then the actions of the family just show a very dysfunctional side to their family. Maybe that is their "normal".
IMOO.

Reminds me of poor Michelle Knight from the Cleveland Three, Ariel Castro's captives. While everyone was looking for Amanda and Gina, and Ariel let them watch the vigils on TV, Michelle had no one looking for her and Ariel used that to rub it in her face every chance he got to make her feel grateful that he had her and he was paying attention to her. (And threatening her and beating the carp out of her.)

WSers are great at team work...no? :Banane48:

It DOES seem like Susan was almost a non-entity. No friends, no hobbies, no interests, didn't join any clubs at the senior living community.

But she was also a mother, a wife, a soon to be grandmother. She had co-workers. She has a sister.

How do you go through 59 years of life and only have 4 people in it??? How do you not have acquaintances?? How can someone be so invisible, that we aren't even sure when she disappeared because no one has come forward to say when they last saw her???

What did she do all day??? Every day? Watch TV?

Why isn't anyone looking for her and getting the word out that she's gone??? The family wants resolution.......what are they doing to get it?? JMO

It could have been unrequited love, and it's very difficult to live that way, if one person loves more than the other. It could be a dysfunctional situation with all the family members.

Your bebegrande sounds like a Starbucks drink! :) How cute!! :) Sounds like you love being a grandparent. :) Neat!!
IMOO.

well, my daughter is young, so it was very stressful on me to get the grande label... but one look at that sweet little chunker and of course i was flat on my face in love :)

Are you saying that the answer to this question about Susan and the gym membership that the attorney asked about, is on the facebook page?
I did recheck the first thread for Susan, and I will attach a link to that where I mention maybe she wanted to use the showers at the gym, and others also gave their opinion, but I am not aware of the real reason the attorney thought it was important.

This is the whole page of page 27, so there will be posts there about this subject of Susan and the gym.

Why have a vigil when this poor woman had no friends who would show up?
What a sad vision a vigil for her and no one showed up!

I bet her Sun City neighbors would show up. I bet a number of us WS'ers who are local would, too. No it might not be hundreds of people, but I still think it's worth doing. Plus it'd be an opportunity to possibly get some media attention. I hope they're still considering it.

Here is the photo. Susan on far right.

Great photo! Thanks for sharing it.

Also shows her apparent love for dogs again. Maybe it's just me and I know everyone's different, but connecting with others over a shared interest such as pets seems so non-threatening for a lot of people. I stopped taking mine to the dog park for various reasons, but when I used to go regularly, everyone knew each others' dogs' names even if they didn't know each others' names. I know my neighbors who walk their dogs regularly too. Seems like something that would be pretty easy for Susan to use as a way of talking to people.

BBM I keep going back to one thing we know she did - she went shopping. Raley's, Target, etc. Even if they're not "friends" of hers, the Raley's store clerks and baggers probably knew and recognized her. I'm assuming she probably normally shopped at that same store. Also if she only picked up a few things at a time, maybe it was a bit of a social outlet for her.

IMO... Outside the reasons of keeping Susan's memory alive... And to continue bringing awareness to the fact that she is missing...

I feel a vigil would also bring some pressure to the perp (if there is one) as s/he would know that this mystery is not forgotten...

It may also be enlightening to LE as they observe the attendees of the vigil... Who comes... And their behaviors...

I wonder if she used the public library. I don't get out much, or at least very far, but always go there twice a week or so.

Good question...

I also wonder if she attended church?

I see all kinds of posters in the lobby of my library; seems like a good place to post them even if she did not use it, to get the public to at least know about Susan.

  • #137
They actually said that ? I remember reading that some neighbors wondered if SJ staged her own disappearance ? jmo moo

That might be what was said. Kind of means the same thing I believe!

Since nobody has found Susan (although there are no current searches), I wonder if Susan is Not in Roseville, and had not been in Roseville since the last time her family (other than her husband) talked to her.
I don't feel Susan drove herself to the parking lot.
I feel the perp dropped off her car in the parking lot, then walked away, throwing
her wallet on the sidewalk, without the cash and credit cards.
The perp did not need to use her credit cards. That's why they have not been used.
The perp did not want her car stolen, that's why the car keys were taken.
The car Had to be found in the parking lot and the wallet Had to be found where it was,
so that it corroborates with the rest of the story.
Alibis were made.
What was Susan doing on Monday and Tuesday Before it was made public that she was missing on Wednesday?
Was Susan out of town on Monday or Tuesday??
IMOO.

Good idea! The library closest to me is closed so often now it's almost pointless trying to go, but it looks like the ones in Roseville are open fairly often and at predictable hours:

http://www.roseville.ca.us/library/locations_n_hours.asp

I wonder if she went there.

I guess this thread is up and running now? You were able to post, but a moderator said that the post that I made previously would be gone as well as the fact the moderator used my name Treelights to post under saying that that will also disappear once the new thread is going.........but their comment is still posted about repairing the thread......
