But where would she be? In the beginning the police and police dogs searched the golf course, where she was not found.
Do you think she is in the area, like where Kjac22 said that this lady and her dogs (not the same dogs), found her scent near the aquatics center? Do you think she is there, but hasn't been found yet?
Do you think she took a city bus and went somewhere else?
Why not leave a suicide note? Why leave it to look like she was abducted? Why tell her husband where she was going to be, when nobody found her there, yet the police found her car?
It doesn't sound like she walked away to me, of her own volition.
IMOO.

Well she either hated her life or someone wanted her gone!
I don't think she is alive!
I think she killed herself or was killed and not by a stranger!

Great questions and points, as always, Treelights. To me, a key investigative question remains: who was the last person - other than her husband - to speak with her and what time did it occur (and can that be verified). If it was a day or two or three prior to her being reported as missing, then who is to say where she might be? I can drive to Medford, OR in 5 hours from Roseville - I can drive to Bakersfield and the Mojave Desert area in about 5 hours from Roseville - I can drive to Nowhere, Nevada in 5 hours from Roseville.... Just saying - it matters when she was last seen/heard by someone other than husband. I've got to imagine that LE has either confirmed this or is spending time trying to determine this...

Exactly. I can think of major freeways/highways in all directions that are very close to where she went missing (if that's where she really went missing). I live fairly nearby and I've driven home from San Diego in a day... granted it was a long day, 9 hours or so?, but I got home. There's another case on here about a woman who went missing in the Mojave/Rosamond area. It seems unlikely they're related but I keep wondering. It's not really THAT far.

I'm with you, I really wish we'd hear from someone else who saw or heard from her. I hope that LE has.

You mention that you thought from day one that this whole thing was made to look like Susan was abducted. What are your thoughts on that, as in do you feel 1.Susan disappeared herself, or 2. do you feel there was a perp, but staged it to look like an abduction? You did not say that you felt a perp abducted her.
That would be the third scenario....
IMOO.
I first thought maybe "someone" disposed of her car there and made it appear that way. Way back on the thread, I questioned the leaving of the wallet, the purse etc. I have a feeling that Susan wanted things to look like this. I don't think she left to start over, but to end it all. I think when people reach a certain point in life with depression (or oppression), they don't have anything left to give. People mentioned leaving with a new grandchild coming, she wouldn't do this. But we dont know what contact she would have had with the child, if any, or if they lived nearby, or any of it. I have one daughter-in-law who has made my visits with grandchildren miserable for 8 years. We never know!!

I know, it's weird! I would think that a post about how much Susan is/was missed would show at least that they are thinking about her, since They made the facebook page for her!
Or a post on the facebook page for an open plea to the perp to let Susan go...But none of that.
Why did Kjac22 make a facebook page for Susan and why did Kjac22 post on Websleuths?? Why did they go on television several times and also respond to comments to the articles written about Susan? Now all of a sudden it's like, Ok, they publicized it, now it's time to move on. I don't understand.
Poor Susan all the way around.

Its like they just want it all to go away!
What if they know hubby did something to her and just want to keep him safe now because they cant help Susan.

It seems easier though, to take the car and go somewhere if she were going to end it all. Why take her purse in the car even? Why not leave the keys In the car then. Her car was not stolen, so it would be difficult for me to imagine that she left her keys in the car, and someone stole her keys but not the car, or stole her keys to get her house key, but yet her house was not burglarized. Why would the credit cards be missing from her wallet? Nobody has used them.
If she were contemplating suicide and actually did it, then she wasn't in the frame of mind for other things to make sense and be rational, I suppose....
It doesn't add up, no matter how a person looks at it.

BBM: This reminds me of Richard Ramirez, the Nightstalker. He killed in the Los Angeles area, then went to the San Francisco area, then back down to the Los Angeles area. He was very mobile. If I remember right, so was Ted Bundy. He lived in Seattle at one time where there were murders, then to Florida where he committed more. So it's not past the realm of possibility that whoever is doing this, is traveling.

I'm a stranger to her, but I think about Susan every day. I feel sad that (according to reports) she lived such an quiet life and now she still has no "voice"

Were there any searches of the areas closer to her home, or the Pleasant Grove Creek Trail, Dry Creek area, or even to the east near Folsom Lake? Or did they just look through the area near the shopping center? She has to be nearby.

I wonder if the reason we aren't hearing more is because some other information has come to light and... I'll just leave it at that.

Poor Susan.

BBM I thought that also. LE could very well have an idea what happened t her and wont say or make an arrest till they find her. They just might have their eye on the prize!

I couldn't even function if my family member was missing, so it makes no sense to stop doing everything you can. I just felt like Susan was a sad and depressed person. Not everyone person who seems reclusive is like that, but Kjac couldn't come up with a friend or neighbor that she would even speak to. He mentioned her sister a few times, but she has not been involved in looking for Susan (that I know of). I don't know, it just felt like a suicide to me with somebody staging, who wasn't a very good stager. Also somebody who didn't want the car stolen for whatever reason.

I know, I'm a stranger to her as well but the whole story breaks my heart.

In case you haven't seen it here's a map of searched areas, from the FB page for her. It's old, last updated in June I believe, but it's at least some info: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...369.1073741826.628131033881760&type=1&theater

One more with info on her route, in the comments: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...369.1073741826.628131033881760&type=1&theater

And one showing a possible scent trail: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...369.1073741826.628131033881760&type=1&theater.

Looks like they searched in the shopping center and open areas nearby including Pleasant Grove, but can't tell on Dry Creek. I haven't heard/read of any searches near Folsom Lake but that's a good (though sad!) idea IMO.

I thought Susan kept in contact with her sister quite often, so it is strange that not much has been said by her except a couple comments on the facebook page for Susan.

Hmm.. you're right, strange. I thought early on I read that they talked daily. Is she with her sister, or at least in contact with her sister?

Since Susan is still missing on these two links, I would think that the family Should and would contact at least the First link listed for the state of California, if in fact they know where Susan is, or have had
contact with Susan since she went missing. IMOO.

The golf course areas searched - On Thursdays, Timber Creek (Sun City/Roseville) and WoodCreek have tee off times starting at or around 0600. What time do they actually think Susan went missing? Hmmm... Wouldn't some of the golfers/marshalls/employees notice a woman wandering around? or a "bad guy" on the course?

But Susan went missing, or was said to be missing on Wednesday, May 1st.
The police found her car on Wednesday May 1st.

oh ok.. let me look for Wednesday times. I took the date off the thread title and it says 2 may 2013.

  • #179
Okay, for Timber Creek I'm finding some Wednesdays with 0712 tee offs, but most with after 1000 (and some with noon.) For WoodCreek it looks like Wednesdays are the same as Thursdays 0612 tee offs.

I want to believe that all the info given is true, but I suspect she went missing during the night or days prior.

Totally agree with you on the Should, but if she or someone wants her to still appear to be missing, would they take her off those sites? I would think it's better to just disappear than to be reported missing if one wants to disappear or someone wants to "disappear" them, but I really don't know.
