God Bless! I am saddened to hear about your husband. Hugs!!

Thank you. He died in an accident and this year (before statute of limitations was over), a woman who was in the car he hit on his motorcycle, which had no damage since he went under it, is suing his estate. It has to be reopened for that. She said she was afraid to ride in a car now even though she had no injury. So it goes on!!
Anywhoo, I keep poor Susan in mind and hope some day there is an answer.

I think she had been missing for some time and only reported as missing because maybe her son or her sister were starting to get suspicious.

I would think LE would ask the grocery store when they saw her last most times if you shop there a lot (I know I go to the store almost every day for something) They would say yes she was here yesterday or might say hey ya know we have not seen her here in a while and she used to come in often.

We need someone to step up and say they saw her.....

Exactly! I have been thinking this all along. They would remember seeing her IMO, maybe not to the exact date, but they'd remember. Or, they might've seen her picture/story/poster and thought "hmmm I assumed she moved, haven't seen her in quite awhile." Hopefully they've shared whatever their thoughts are with LE.

You are a very strong person, the many challenges you are facing even to this day. Bless You!
And yes, I keep Susan in my mind too, and I too, think "poor Susan". It's an adjective that just fits, a very sad adjective....
I hope she is found.

Hmmm - wish I was on board from the first post here... I have flipped my side of the fence and am really bugged for sure.

I wonder if this is considered an active case by Roseville LE and if not, I wonder if they could use some nudging to tell the community something or investigate further..

Re: your question I really don't know. I do think that yes they could use some nudging, but so far I've not found a successful way to do it. If anyone has tips on how to help do this I'm all ears, for sure.

Unless Susan only used cash to do her shopping, her bank records would be the most reliable source of her shopping habits. IMO.

On July 5th, the facebook page for Susan had an update that they were Hoping to have a vigil or something similar for Susan. Didn't happen. Neither one. Nothing.
Getting her name out there is KEY in helping to find Susan.

Oh, and the facebook page has not been updated in almost a month......(3 weeks and 6 days)

IMOO.

I sent emails to the Dyersburg Gazette re: Karen Swift, asking them to please ask the sheriff every month for an update. No response. I thought that was odd. I also saw on another thread that a mod said if you call the police, you can't tell about it on WS. Also said to not call because the police asked that it stop, at least on that person. Adrienne Salinas thread maybe?

I have lived in three states and after a death, there was a probate period. The estate of the deceased had to be announced in the paper and all creditors had a chance to claim debt relief. You can only spend what the state decides is your portion until it's all cleared. I don't know about CA though. My husband died in MI and I moved back to SC during the probate period and had to hire an attorney and it went on for 14 months. I couldn't sell anything that was titled to him alone. If it was titled to both, I could sell it and claim half. (vehicles for example) Very complicated and stressful.

So as a concerned citizen, can't one call LE I to ask questions? I'm not local but I have a big mouth. And am extremely nice and persuasive. Lol

Some strange post on craigslist. A little creepy..

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/laf/4015569581.html

That post was in response to this post
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/laf/4015377612.html

Anyone else think this is a little odd in some way?

Uh yes, very odd! I hope it's wrong, though I suspect it probably isn't. :( I want so much to believe she's still out there alive somewhere. Heck I love the theory/possibility that maybe she ran off with someone and is happily hiding, but I know the likelihood of that being the case is so, so small.

I wonder what the Craigslist poster meant by she didn't put up enough of a fuss by Raley's/Starbucks? And "When she did..." How would they know this? Very strange.

Someone should screenshot the "reply" Craigslist posting and send to LE.

Well if you wanna give it a shot: http://www.roseville.ca.us/police/
Non-Emergency Phone: (916) 774-5000

Maybe you'll have better luck, we can hope so!

I asked about her on their FB page too, don't know why I didn't think to do that before. Fingers crossed...

Exactly! That part and the part about her being too frail and weak to put up a fight. The part about her "now being in the hands of god" also didn't sit right with me.

Excellent idea! I just saved it in TXT format and sent it to their contact email addy. I hope I'll hear something back.

In case anyone wants it, link:
http://www.roseville.ca.us/news/displaynews.asp?NewsID=3677

I can't tell when they last updated this, but seems like it's been awhile (May, maybe?), but you can contact them via the Email link on the upper right. That's how I sent the info from the Craigslist post. It goes to [email protected].

Even way back then they were saying (BBM) "We urge anyone who saw Mrs. Jacobson in the days leading up to her disappearance, or who has any information at all that could help call our tip line at (916)774-5080."

Dang... they're on it on the Roseville Police and Fire FB page. Unfortunately they didn't really have any new info, but I'm impressed they got back to me so fast. All they said was "No, I'm sorry, Mrs. Jacobson is still missing and there is no new information."
