Tellie is a white female, 5 feet 11 inches tall. She has been reported as weighing from 135 to 165 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She may wear glasses. She reportedly lived a transient lifestyle in both Laytonville and Comptche CA.

Background
At 5:30 pm 18 July 2013, MCSO deputies answered a call from a property north of Laytonville. Tellie was there in an SUV that she claimed had run out of gas. She had a male companion in the vehicle, named EP. A check of the Vehicle Identification Number showed the vehicle was stolen. A warrant check revealed the pair had warrants outstanding. As part of the arrest of Tellie and EP, the vehicle was searched. Property that had been stolen in Fort Bragg CA was found, along with drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. They were booked into county jail and held on $30,000 bail.

Tellie was not only booked on auto theft and drug charges; she also had failed to appear for a prior court date, and was accused of being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm. Thus she was charged with four felonies.

Disappearance
In January 2014, Tellie's relatives realized they had not seen her since Christmas 2013. Her cell phone went inactive. On 14 January 2014, Tellie was reported missing. She has not been heard from since.

Her crime partner EP was arrested on 12 February 2015 after he staged a home invasion, and shot at the home's occupants. The victims managed to detain him, and administer a bit of beatdown in the process. EP was arrested by deputies and held on $250,000 bail.

A comment on the Crime Voice page, purportedly from Tellie's mother, makes an accusation of murder, naming the supposed location and giving suspects' names. Veracity of this info cannot be judged.

I really miss my friend.
This stuff is all bad but she had a good heart only mixed up with the wrong people.
She had a really rough life
I won't go into that, but she didnt deserve
What people around the area say happened to her. Its Its incredibly hard to imagine that nobody has the decency to attempt to make contact anonymously about the so called "photo(s)" that supposedly had at one point circulated through the garbage crowd.
It makes me feel sick
I havent heard of or seen any attempt to find her body or the people who supposedly did this most filthy and heinous thing to this woman. I knew her for many years.
She got a lot of pressure from people who just didn't like her too and probably spent a lot of time on spreading rumors about her to further diminish her reputation amongst the community and she became somewhat of an outcast.

Unless she committed murder herself, there is no justification for capital punishment for whatever offenses she may have committed. There is a court system to be used.

She didn't commit murder. She was however in a crowd of people who I feel probably had or could have. If anything she would have either witnessed something or knew of something. And someone else did not appreciate that fact.

What she supposedly did was money related to do with a business transaction went bad.
There's more to it than that but it isnt my business and I don't know that the rumors are true. I don't think that they are not true though. And I still will miss her even if she was not on a good path. She had a lot harder of a life from childhood than most people would know about or understand. She had no protection or guidance from the minute I first met her and probably long before. The truth is that she was not raised well. but she would not kill another person.

I heard that Some girl in jail did not like her and went around telling people that she was in jail at the same time and supposedly overheard tellie talking about something.
Then the Town people Especially among the people closest to the criminal activity of which she was supposedly speaking openly about in jail did not like that. But I don't think that they are the ones who did it. They probably would have been glad to. But I think that someone else or another group is probably responsible. They might not be local to that area. I just wish someone would be kind enough to get a tip in so she could at least be buried and then her friends even ones like me who parted ways and went to our right paths could get closure. She chose her path and the people she surrounded herself with. She chose to make a bad decision. Or many. But she didn't have to die and she should not be kept the people who WERE NOT plotting quietly against her.
All it takes to ruin someone else's life around here is a rumor started by a chick who actually has been involved with horrible things. And that is sad.
