It was said on the FB that the house has been considered a crime scene since 3 am., and that Scott Road is still blocked off...and probably related to last night's search being called off...JMO

Crime tape surrounded the home in the 33000 block of Helen Lane, where Terry Smith was last seen on Saturday night.

Authorities were searching for human remains, according to Riverside County sheriff&#8217;s Deputy Albert Martinez.

Investigators had reason to believe that there were remains on the property, although none had been found yet, Martinez said.

KTLA channel 5 from this page saying that LE strongly suspect human remains will be found on the family property?!

I need to amend this. I went back this morning when I was able to get online and all of the comments that were disturbing to me are still posted there. Apparently the information that they were derived from though has been hidden (ie - certain FB pages), so I have no way to verify their accuracy. The comments though, if accurate, are quite disturbing.

ETA ~ Well, H*11! Now they are definitely deleted. That page is out of control.

i was listening to the scanner earlier but didn't hear anything and i closed it because i figured if they're already on scene and aren't out conducting "searches", there might not be anything to be heard? idk how it works in these types of cases.

i'm reading that mom wouldn't let LE search her home/property until they had a warrant. perhaps they got one and executed the warrant early this morning when they taped the house/property off?

i don't have a link confirming my first sentence yet, but i'm looking

It seems more and more the term remains is used to soften the wording. Body sounds so sad and horrific and gruesome and even though remains means the same thing, I think it's a point being made to NOT use the word ' body'. We they pull someone out of a river, fully intact, they say their ' remains' were found. So I wouldn't read much into it except that the baby boy is gone now They must have reason to believe that.

Yeah mamacita - I've been following on Menifee 24/7 FB and it was also posted there...SMH in sadness if true, JMO. Prayers for his dad and others who love Terry.

ETA - Someone also posted there that the mother wouldn't let them search the property/house without a warrant, JMO.
