Therapist Accused of Molesting 14-Year-Old Boy with Autism During Therapy Session in Teen’s Bedroom

A California man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy with autism during an in-home therapy session. Salvador Armando Arriaga is charged with one felony count of committing a lewd act on a child. He faces up to 25 years in prison if found guilty.

Salvador Armando Arriaga, 32, has been charged with one felony count of committing a lewd act on a child under 14 “as well as an allegation that he went into the child’s home with the intent to molest him” in September, according to an Orange County District Attorney’s Office press release shared on May 28.

ugh. Disturbing and sad. I don't know about the US but here in Australia 'behavioural therapist' isn't any kind of protected title/profession with registration etc and basically anyone can call themselves that.
