It reminds me of soldiers who came back from Vietnam, after 2 or 3 tours there. Sent to Vietnam at age 19, 20...back by 24, 25, and they didn't "fit" back into "normal" society.

Training people to kill, and then expecting them to be normal is part of the problem.

Well apparently he started acting out right from the beginning, he might be one of those who joined the military because he wanted to kill.

the Vietnam soldiers I know are racked with guilt over what they did. That is why so many have issues. They did not come back and become killers. Many developed drug and alcohol issues to block out the memories

My Father did too, he came back far different from when he went.

He wandered our house at night, on "patrol". He was never able to manage a job, and had anger management issues that were beyond scary.

When I think about 100% disability benefits for veterans, I also think about the 100% disability family members affected by their disabled veteran.

Yes, they do self medicate, or commit suicide.

Good to know he got his hatchet back from NCIS in case there is a skull it needs to be buried in.
