Yeah that's one thing I didn't get is why they didn't call.

He was married to a woman who lives in Arizona now, there were DV charges in that relationship. It's still unclear who the latest charges involved.

Quartz Hill is 65 miles N of downtown LA. The suspect was arrested in Kern Co appx 90 miles NW of Quartz Hill.

Yeah I haven't been able to find anything on the latest charges other than what's been reported in the articles.

That's what I've heard. A close friend knew her really well and a few others had wives that had worked with her.

The same logic which told him - camping at Lake Isabella was a reasonable thing to do after murdering your girlfriend?
Everything he did, including driving away in his truck pulling the trailer was caught on camera. Maybe he thought her body would be destroyed in the fire and the stabbing wouldn't be apparent, who knows.

I'm betting we'll see a psychotic break defense.

He had stabbed her and IMO, probably didn't want to risk getting caught driving with her body. Probably thought the fire would destroy any evidence of the stabbing but it wouldn't have mattered anyways considering it was his house

The image of the home shows it's likely made of fire-resistant materials. The roof is made of concrete or maybe clay tiles. A not very smart person would think the place would go up in smoke.

Stabbing is up close and personal. It is a very painful way to die experts say. Maybe I don't want to know but will ask anyway. How did he manage to lift her dead weight into the trunk? Adrenaline due to fear and excitement? One figure I saw was that most men can lift 2.5 times their bodyweight or a 198 pound man should be able to lift 155 pounds so maybe it wasn't difficult at all. It sure is a creepy thing to do. What was his motive?

Definitely clay or concrete tiles but one thing he probably didn't realize is that the drywall in the garage has to be fire resistant to prevent the spread of a fire into the house.

Adrenaline will definitely help out in that situation. The 2.5 times is usually used for bench pressing. 155lbs should be doable for an average male though when it comes to deadlifts which would be the motion used to lift a dead body.

I don't believe she was the victim in the rape case. Also learned today he wasn't fired over those charges but rather for a repeated security violation
