Bakersfield, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — California City Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing at-risk man.

42-year-old Vincent Sutton was last seen leaving his home on Lupine Loop Drive around 5:00 p.m. September 14.

Sutton is considered at-risk due to a mental health condition that causes him to not know where he is or how to get home.

He was last seen wearing a brown plaid shirt and blue jeans.

He's described by Cal City PD as being 6'2" and 150 lbs.

Attendees of First Baptist Church believe he was seen as services on September 15th, and left without shoes.

Anyone with any information should call 9-1-1 or CCPD at (760) 373-8606.

Crystal says she asked her brother where he was going and he said he was going to church. “I said, ‘OK, you going to the church, come right back,’” she recalled.

Vincent came back, but returned without shoes. He had also become nonverbal. Crystal started to get concerned and called the police. “I’m calling the police and I’m asking for help and they just like, ‘There’s nothing we can do,’” she said.

Crystal continued to worry about her brother after she got back to her own home. That night, her phone rang. “My dad called and was like, ‘Um, you know, your brother walked out and I can’t find him,’” she recalled. “My dad kept saying, ‘It’s nighttime, he don’t go out at nighttime.’”

His NamUs page has been removed. I can't find official news but IMO it's not good. 😟
