Could be all of the above. Just like the Missy Bevers case in Texas. It's been silent for months. No clue as to who killed her on the church property.

Why would no one be talking? Do police know who it is and have asked everyone to be patient AND be quiet?

Or are they clueless?

Are there reasons to think Wills would voluntarily leave his home and not communicate with anyone?

Are there reasons to believe that family members have a reason to be involved in his disappearance. Or that one in particular would do him harm?

Maybe they suspect someone very, very close to him but don't want to show their hand?

Maybe a neighbor? Someone he'd been feuding with?

Someone from work?

Maybe they're covering all tips and leads.

Maybe the rains have made investigating more difficult. Would there be a trail for the dogs to follow?

Maybe the person or people they suspect have circled the wagons and are not saying squat. Could be there's been some lawyering up of potential suspects.

I think neighbors, family, wife would be demanding an update. By this time it would be reasonable.

We know from many cases that it is not uncommon for LE to go silent
But , I can only speak for myself, I would not be quiet if this were my loved one and I thought there was foul play
It seems when you think something will be solved quickly, it always takes forever or never does get solved
I wish LE would give an update... still looking, not looking , whatever
Nothing on the blood, nothing on the SUV, nothing nothing nothing. Seems Will just vanished

This case is so troubling and it has similarities to the disappearance of Robert Hoagland of Newtown, CT in July 2013. Seems like no one is talking....family, friends, neighbors, police. Simply disturbing.

I totally forgot about that case but you are right...and he was never located was he? I totally remember when that happened because I was at my summer house back there.

Maybe its a bit of everything...
LE is not disclosing what info they have, but asking for help bescause they need more info...

The family is possibly being asked not to talk to the press by LE...and at this point they are following that advise hoping that this will get solved

And maybe people are lawyering up, even if they did nothing wrong, because they are afraid they may be accused of something or feel they need proper advice on how to deal with LE, the press and media, etc...

This situation can be overwhelming and scary for anyone who has never dealt with this kind of thing, so getting a lawyer and taking the advice of LE is not abnormal...especially if you think it is the best way to get your loved one home safe. We have no clue what the family has been told.

Just picked up a AAA Auto Club map and yellow highlighted the areas I have searched. Perhaps anyone else can post here or at the meeting location to add their locations.

Wish LE would share some info. It is one muddy mess here in SCV and it could put people in danger sloshing through it. If they have a video of the car in the driveway for 15 minutes they should have the license number. What is their story?

My thoughts exactly....this is the first time I've seen any talk of looking for him and it's been 3 weeks. I would love to help them but it's my son's birthday Saturday so I can't make it.
