Checked out people with same last name on FB last night. His nephew has a couple of different pages. Kinda creepy. Just my opinion.
Went passed the house today. Will's truck is still on the curb and there were 2 cars in the driveway and another in front. They have a one story house built about 1970. There are neighbors on both sides. The wall in back abuts a small commercial lot surrounded by a temp chain link fence. There used to a gas station on the lot but it was torn down many years ago and nothing has been built there yet. The lot faces Bouquet Cyn Rd which is a busy divided 4 lane road that takes suburbanites to their homes. I live in this tract of homes. The entrance from Bouquet Cyn Rd is Festividad. There are three homes before you get to Will's street. When you turn on their street they are the first house on the right. It is normally a very quiet area except for the homeowners coming and going. There were no news trucks there this afternoon. Blessings to the family. I can only hope for a happy ending. What with blood being found in the house I am not optimistic unfortunately.

Sorry if I missed this while reading the earlier posts on this case thread... but-- SAR dogs ? Were they brought in at all ?

I read that one family member thinks that maybe he had a medical issue and he wondered off. If he wondered off where could he be. There are a few mountain areas and a wash but the wash is populated by a bike path. Not many places he can go without being seen. I am curious why there was no search planned. I know a lot of people in the area asked to volunteer.

I didn't read anything about dogs being brought in.

Where did you read that?

I transcribed here from the 3 different videos on the linked page what Will's wife has said when interviewed:
http://ktla.com/2017/02/01/homicide...ld-santa-clarita-man-missing-since-last-week/

"He just asked me if I was going to work a little later, and I said yeah I'd be a little late. And then he just told me what he was making for dinner, and he was in a good mood 'cause he watched golf during the day, and he'd been outside and it was a nice day. And he said don't hurry, you know, I'll be here. So I said ok. And then I called him at 6:00 and he didn't answer."
======
"Everything was where it was supposed to be. That's why I just thought he just stepped outside."
======
"I don't understand how he's disappeared because everybody likes him."
======

What a sweet, endearing couple. I am so sad for this to happen to them.

I think the extended family relationships could be quite complex here. I think we should tread carefully before making connections that are not valid (or sleuth-able)...the person (AP) who spoke to the press does NOT seem to be the mother of nephew (well not of the nephew whose image has been posted on media anyhow).

This is what AP said

Cierzan’s sister told KCAL9 by phone her son did not indicate that there were any signs of trouble prior to Will’s disappearance.

“He (the nephew) said everything looked fine, everything was fine,” Will Cierzan’s sister, Andrea Peck, said. “I asked that question. You know, did he have a headache? Was he not feeling good? Was he acting like, did you guys get into any kind of argument. We went through all that. And it was kind of like, no, nothing.”

Was it the same sister that spoke to KCAL9?

Maybe not, because her son would be a Peck, right?

First time I had read anything about LC calling home at six and there was no answer.
Seems the window is between four and six
One vehicle(that we know of) arrived and left the property somewhere around five and five fifteen.
I don't believe this man walked away JMO

It was a statement made on Chanel 4. Sorry instead of read I should have said heard.

The only thing I have heard about health was from his sister. She asked the nephew if WC was feeling alright, if he had a headache or anything.
Maybe that is where it came from

The only other place I heard remarks regarding Will's health was in the press conference. Somewhere after the 14:00 mark.
I couldn't make out the wife's answer clearly, but a reporter asked "No issues with mental health, dementia, anything?" She answered quickly and said, "No, we just had our physicals in Dec"... and then I couldn't hear the rest.

So blood stains
We don't know how much
But the word stains implies (to me) that it was cleaned up or smears
Not drops, not pools, but stains
But LC also said nothing looked out of place when she came home
The SUV was not there very long, about fifteen minutes.
Not a long time for a crime to happen and a clean up and a removal of a body

LC told her husband she was working late
Does anyone know what her regular time to come home would have been?
Someone arrived at five PM. Did that person know Linda was working late?

The neighbor says 10-15 minutes, but the timeline on the video only spans about 6+ minutes.

Thought there'd be some answers by now.
Is there a remote chance that he staged his own disappearance ? I.e., "Gone Girl" ?
If so-- he o.k. and just needs time away.

Stranger things have happened.

I have followed cases where I have been shocked at the outcome and maybe I will be this time, but I can't see him leaving voluntarily
At least not until we hear more about the blood.
And that SUV that was at the house for a short time
Who owns it and why were they there?

Still curious about the nephews visit. Did he drive there? Because LE has not mentioned anything about another car being caught on video

It takes a few weeks to get results back from forensic testing (blood, fingerprints, etc.). I have a feeling LE has a suspect in mind but they need to build a case with evidence before they can make an arrest. The have to review the video, confirm alibis, confirm possible motive, etc.
