It takes a few weeks to get results back from forensic testing (blood, fingerprints, etc.). I have a feeling LE has a suspect in mind but they need to build a case with evidence before they can make an arrest. The have to review the video, confirm alibis, confirm possible motive, etc.

I agree with all of that
Heartbreaking for his wife and family

Stranger things have happened.

I have followed cases where I have been shocked at the outcome and maybe I will be this time, but I can't see him leaving voluntarily
At least not until we hear more about the blood.
And that SUV that was at the house for a short time
Who owns it and why were they there?

Still curious about the nephews visit. Did he drive there? Because LE has not mentioned anything about another car being caught on video

I got the impression the nephew was there in the afternoon as he said. Then around 5 after last phone call a vehicle similar to the nephews was seen on neighbors camera backing in the driveway and leaving after 15 minutes.

So blood stains
We don't know how much
But the word stains implies (to me) that it was cleaned up or smears
Not drops, not pools, but stains
But LC also said nothing looked out of place when she came home
The SUV was not there very long, about fifteen minutes.
Not a long time for a crime to happen and a clean up and a removal of a body

bbm - good point. It might mean that the blood stains were quite small, nothing one would immediately notice when walking through the house.

Your next point is also very true - 15 minutes not enough time. Unless, the SUV only drove up to the house to remove the body and everything else had already happened before that, between 4 and 5pm. Person would have had come and gone through the back somehow.

I also have that impression. There seems to be no doubt that the nephew visited.
What confuses me is when LE are discussing the video of the house, they only mention one vehicle approaching at 5 pm
There has never been any mention of the nephew arriving or leaving
Maybe he walked and entered through the back way.

Thought there'd be some answers by now.
Is there a remote chance that he staged his own disappearance ? I.e., "Gone Girl" ?
If so-- he o.k. and just needs time away.

I think something happened to this man.
Some thing bad.

The nephew's FB page is alarming and he does not seem the type to sit and watch golf with a 58 year old. I'm wondering if drugs were involved.

There has been some discussion that that may be the wrong nephew?? I certainly don't know but it is a large family.
If in fact it is this one, I agree with you

The fact they are leaving out details about the nephew makes me suspcious. They dont want him to know they are focusing on him.

Maybe, when the wife called at 4, and husband said that his nephew had already left---maybe, he had not really left yet? And something bad happened after the call. Then someone leaves to go get their car, and back it up to the garage, so they can load a rolled up rug into the back of the suv...

But the neighbor said in an interview that 'that car' was there quite often. So it seems that there was one nephew that visited a lot. I am curious why. Hard to believe it was to watch golf all day.

At the press conference, William's wife said she did not know the nephew had visited. So William did not tell her the nephew had left, she didn't know he was even there. Which I do find peculiar since she spoke to him 2x.

There was another article that had said he told his wife his nephew was gone. I will try and find it because someone has the facts mixed up. I wonder why.

Not sure, but I say the wife speak it that she didn't know the nephew had been there.
At the presser.

Or, LE was referring only to the time in question - between 4 and 7pm. Nephew might have been seen on video to have come and gone earlier.

I don't think he told his wife the nephew had been here and left.
Didn't that info come from nephews mother?

bbm - I'm confused about how often she actually spoke to William. At first it was said twice, at around 4 pm and again at around 5pm iirc?

Then it was said, at around 4pm, and she tried again at 6pm and there was no answer.

Do we have clear information about this? Because if she did talk to him twice before the SUV pulled up it's kind of unlikely, as pointed out earlier, that while the SUV was there for less than 10 minutes or so, a murder occurred and a body was moved. It could be done, of course, if all planned beforehand ...

But the timeline sure is confusing.

I am seeing it in several MSN articles.
I am going back to listen to the PC

Useless, I can barely hear it. My surroundings are noisy

I think the confusion comes from early statements from Andrea Peck who perhaps had not been clear on the exact series of events. I think it's better to rely on exactly what the wife stated.

Also after checking out the nephew's 3 FB profiles I am beginning to believe that Andrea Peck is not his mother but his aunt. I believe his mother lives in another state and his father lives locally.

I think so too.
The confusion (for me) was a MSN report that quoted one sister who had spoken to the news and then the report carried on to quote AP. Until I read it several times, i thought AP and the person who spoke to the news was the same person
