Just a thought before I fall asleep.
I will sadly assume those going out are looking for a body. If the perp is still in the area and more so with all the rain y'all have had in California...he could possibly be going out say on a Thursday to check where he may have left William to assure he is still there and hidden. Imho

First, I just don't click on the "Thanks" button because its there, each of you have started to hit on really good points that apply to this case. The hard core people in the Saturday search are becoming very angry and more motivated. We haven't missed a single day now, but the reason I haven't posted, some of this will complicate a conviction if posted. Gig Tu, you are referring to a different case, BUT every bit of that situation drove our search late today. One in our group was able to secure permits, access, responsibility & keys to go anywhere we want. Gig Tu #548 & Dushi #549 if I could fly you both out, you would help solve this faster....don't forget there was 1 on Friday & 1 on Saturday that had no business at this location. I can't post yesterday nor can I post details of late this afternoon.

Today was a total of 9 hours in 2 phases. The morning started out with me going to clear the property of Grace Baptist Church on Copperhill between Seco cyn. & San Francisquito cyn. I always do things as proper as should be done...I check in with the secretary, looked at her log for night time activities Thurs. Jan. 26th, gates would have closed around 10 pm that night, I ask to speak to the facilities/ground supr., I give him my real ID/phone, I have to give him a portion of the story to justify me walking around as the northeast & northwest parking lots cannot be seen from any of this large church facility. I never completed the full perimeter when 2 cop cars with lights showed up to find some whack job looking like this.....perhaps I should have gone without hair color....

This is sounding more positive in as much as something is being done
It is great that one of the search party could get the necessary paperwork in order
I think we all understand that certain information is best left off of the thread if there is a chance of compromising the case. I know TMS will make the right choices

Police have refused to comment on the blood at the scene.
Will lived there, why would they not say it is his? It doesn't sound like a lot of blood, so finding a bit of the homeowners blood wouldn't be that unusual.
Or were we led to believe it was a small amount? I think not, as LC said she noticed nothing unusual

I may be wrong (have been before) but it seems to me, LE did not take this case seriously in the beginning. I am hoping, with the late searching, some information has come to light
We know that dammm SUV was there. LE must know who was driving it. This part drives me crazy.
They, (LE) know someone connected to the family owns a vehicle like the one on cctv.
Have LE not been able to get a read on the plate?
There must be other distinguishing factors on the SUV
Someone muct have a steel alibi
Do we know if any vehicles have been searched and tested.
If there was new blood in the home, there could be new blood in a vehicle

All MHO

My line of thinking at this point is focusing on the new players that are stated as 'do not belong' there. Right away, I feel a PI should be retained to follow up on those persons, and connect the dots. Also, since home and business cameras are becoming more and more prominent, it might be a good idea to now review other video from cameras in the area where the new players that do not belong have frequented. Capture license plates, types of dress, body type, mannerisms, walking style, shoes and hats, etc. All of this can be saved off for future use, but assist in doing as was mentioned earlier... connecting the dots. Lastly, at this point I feel it would be wise and safer for all involved to make this thread now a private thread until William is found. This way, it can only be viewed by those who are logged in, and IP addresses could be very powerful tools right about now. TMS, you are a walking icon. Delicious. But, that also makes you an easy target. keep safe!

Excellent thoughts

A connection must be made.
Those showing interest need to be followed up, what is their interest? Are they there on behave of someone else?
I can not stress this strongly enough.

And yes, TMS , BE CAREFUL, GigTu is right!

I have noticed, for a rather low profile case, we have had quite a few guests

As in silent, just looking guests?

I think the police purposely mentioned the blood.

Someone needs to be sweating some very heavy bullets right now.

And I firmly believe they are.

They didn't! If it weren't for the media posting their "mystery" article, I don't think anyone would have been the wiser about this case. I was surprised to see it hadn't even come across los' radar when I came here looking for his thread and found none!

I am so happy to see so much involvement in the search for him and head-scratching at what may have happened. You guys are all awesome for continuing to support older MP who otherwise fall under the radar. Thanks for all you do.

Thank you
For some reason, there are some cases that touch you deeper than others.
I intend to be here or checking in until there are satisfactory answers.
I keep seeing Will's wife's face in my head, breaks my heart

I haven't posted much because I'm not really sure I have anything helpful to add but I live about 10 minutes away from William so I feel invested in his case. I just can't imagine why the community waited so long to start searching for him. Thank goodness for Mad Scientist who has been looking for him since the beginning.

I drive by the house daily on my way out of out tract of houses. His truck is in the curb and usually only one car in the driveway. I hate to think of his wife there alone. I hope she is staying with family. So sad.

View of the back of the house from Bouquet Canyon Road a while ago. It may have changed.

If he went out the back door, it's hard to imagine him climbing his back fence. Is there a gate that I'm missing? Maybe there's a side door to a neighbor's house that the camera would not see.

Scent dogs would be helpful. Not sure if they've been used. It's not too late to give them a try...
The fence would be easy to jump over.

First someone would have to scale the block wall and would then be in a lot surrounded by a chain link fence. I doubt that a 58 year old man would find it easy to hop the fences. The chain link fence is at a very busy intersection and anyone hopping the fence would seem really out of place.

I am 51 and I think I could. I might be wrong and in pain. Anywho, I was thinking of someone younger visiting.
Imho...I don't know if anyone driving by would think...oh that person seems out of place...but just someone leaving the property.
