When WC first went missing, we discussed here a post on social media, by a woman who said that she grew up in WC's house. She motioned that she and her friends would scale the wall in back of the house, as a shortcut to the stores etc. We are left with the fact that the family said that according to the video, no one came to the front door that day ... Looking at the house, there appears to be a side path. I wonder if that was the exit. But, I think it would show up on the video ...Puzzling/ jmo

I did not see that post. The fence still seems awfully high for anyone to scale, especially a child or a 58 year old man. However, I did not live there so this is only my opinion. Its one thing to get up the wall, even though its stone vs getting down on the other side. Perhaps the wood was added after she lived there, making the fence higher. The standard height for a chain link fence is 6 ft. The stone part of the fence is about a foot or less shorter than the chain link fence and then the wood is a good 1 ft 1/2 taller than the chain link making the wall surround WC's at least 7 plus feet tall.

I would love a link to the surveillance footage, I have yet to see anything but stills, which do not show a view of the front of the house. But yes, family members are saying no one came or left, other than suv. Which is confusing considering the nephew was there. Perhaps that was already established so their statements were in regard to no one "unknown" coming or going.

Every house i have ever lived in had 'side' gates and exits from back of the yard to the front. Usually both sides of the house have some way to get through.

It does look like there is a path that leads to a gate on the left hand side of the house, which would lead to the backyard. Although, it isn't on the side of the front door it still is at the front of the house. However, this area may hidden from view of the surveillance.

Yea with footage like that, there is no way to tell if anyone came or went. How can LE make such a statement!
LE did not make the statement. It was made by WC's sister, (AP) who by ehe way is not the nephew's mother.

I thought it might be possible to come and go via the side path without being seen on the surveillance video. Kind of awkward though to remove a deceased person that way ? Interestingly enough, WC's neighbor who lived next to his house made a comment that LE had never come and asked him if he had seen or heard anything that afternoon/evening. The way he said it made me think he definitely had seen/heard something unusual. This was in an early news report. If people were exiting/entering using the side path, this is a possibility...jmo

Oh, do you have a link that explains this? Unless Peck is her married name and not the nephews father.
I don't think there is a link that explains the relationship between AP and nephew but we do know that AP is WC'S sister as stated in the press conference. I do have personal knowledge however, that the nephew's Dad is Will's brother and the nephew's mother lives out of state.

Most of the early details of when nephew arrived, when he left and what he did was conveyed by nephews aunt (AP), not LE. Same goes for who was or wasnt seen on the home surveillance video. The video was not released by LE.

Perhaps family's statement should have been that "no one was seen" as opposed to "no one went in or out".

I wish I felt up to doing a graph of what is fact and might be facts. I have an infection...nothing gross but appt. tomorrow and hoping to get a shot since antibiotics aren't doing it and just maybe I can or we could split up what has been posted as facts and by whom.
Prob running a fever...i am rambling on...

Just read in an old news report WC's sister : " Video shows he never left the house. No friends drove up. No one came to the door".. Pretty conclusive... jmo

Cierzan’s sister told KCAL9 by phone her son did not indicate that there were any signs of trouble prior to Will’s disappearance.
“He (the nephew) said everything looked fine, everything was fine,” Will Cierzan’s sister, Andrea Peck, said. “I asked that question. You know, did he have a headache? Was he not feeling good? Was he acting like, did you guys get into any kind of argument. We went through all that. And it was kind of like, no, nothing.”

This is wrong then, they identify Andrea as the nephews mother.

In the surveillance footage, as grainy as it is, it does look like there are 2 people in the car. It also looks like they are in quite a hurry, seeing how he had to back into the driveway. He turned too quickly and had to turn the suv quite a bit to make it into the driveway.

Well obviously Will left tbe house. And so did nephew. Video just does'nt capture it ---unless they both left when tbe SUV backed into driveway.

Yes, the reporter probably made an assumption she was his mother as I did at first.

Thought it showed two people myself. And I agree, it seemed like he/they were in a hurry. Perhaps they thought WC's wife would be showing up shortly ? jmo

Sure...but, there isn't a septic system there, right ?

Unless every home on that block has a security system with cameras, I would think there would be many escape routes for someone who wanted to exit William's home without being seen. Don't forget, it was dark by 5 p.m. I remember many times as a kid cutting through neighbors' backyards, climbing over fences for shortcuts, etc. Granted, that was many moons ago and security cameras were unheard of. Seems to me there are plenty of trees and shrubs in that neighborhood where someone could stealthily creep around and out of there without being seen. I am still shaking my head about the neighbor who was never interviewed. What a strange case this is. My gut tells me that William was transported in that white SUV, and not voluntarily.

I don't know
But the only way Nephew would be a Cierzan would be if his father was Wills brother or she had him out of wedlock ( if we are talking brother or sister)
Got it that article was very confusing.

I believe the article is misleading. I have been directed to another person that lives out of the area.
I was under the impression that he was not working and living at home at the time thus how he was asked about William. Imho
I need to stop assuming.

I think it was sloppy writing. It says by phone because she is not in the area.
