But if Will left the house to go somewhere or meet someone, wouldn't we see his departure on video?
If all was normal, he wouldn't be sneaking out of the house
And when the SUV arrives, we do not see anyone getting in or out of it

I think whatever happened, happened at the house after Linda called at 4 PM
I don't know why Will never mentioned that he had company that day, maybe it was unimportant to him
He told Linda that he was cooking and she says he sounded happy, so everything was ok til 4 pm, IMO

I read that there was a police presence at WC's house the same night he disappeared. And that LE was there for a week "looking for clues ". Does anyone local know if crime scene tape was placed around the parameter of the house ? Was it processed as a crime scene, I wonder ? TIA to anyone who knows.

I never saw any photos of crime scene tape.
LE spent several days in the house, searched it
Would that be considered processed as a crime scene?

“On Thursday, the deputies searched every inch of the house,” his sister Peck said.

I can't find the article that says LE were there for several days...

I am doubting the nephew was even there watching golf that day, hence why Will never mentioned it.

We don't know what LE saw on that enhanced video, though. Also, I certainly wasn't suggesting that WC was sneaking out of the house ? Thing is, WC is a grown man. Maybe he just wanted to go out for a few hours on his day off, after he had cooked dinner ? I recall that LE mentioned looking at other videos, and they had also mentioned looking for other surveillance videos to examine. Wonder what those other videos show ? After all, there is apparently nothing on the video we have seen that shows anyone going in or leaving the house. But maybe LE saw things that they have edited out ?

Apparently, LE is not treating this as a homicide, but rather as a missing person's case.

I had read that LE was at the house for a week. I just wondered if the house was treated as a crime scene at any point. I don't recall seeing crime scene tape either. jmo

I didn't mean to suggest that you thought he was sneaking out of the house. Sometimes my fingers move faster than my mind!
I meant, if Will was leaving under no duress, why not use the front or side door?
Would he climb the back fence?
Maybe that side path leads to the road and it doesn't show on the video
Wouldn't he take his keys?
I wonder if the doors were locked when Linda got home

I agree with you, I just think if WC was going out he would have taken his own car or if he went with the nephew then the nephew would have said so.

I dont think it was, even though homicide detectives are involved, they claim to just be helping.

I believe they said (at PC) that when an adult goes missing, homicide always investigates

But, since the nephew has never spoken publicly, we do not know what he told LE when he gave them a statement. jmo

I wondered about whether the house was locked up too. And also if there were any interior lights left on ? that might loosely indicate when WC left the house. I do not think he climbed the back fence. I believe he was picked up at the house by the relative (or whoever) was driving the SUV shown on the video. jmo

I wish we knew if the garage door opened when the SUV pulled in.
Would the vehicle block the garage door from the video, or were we just not shown that?

If anyone has a home camera, see if you can compare the screen size measurements against the ones zoomed out in the video.

I can't tell at all

You can see in this link they zoom in, before they do it looks like you could just make out the bottom of the garage door but I cant tell if its open or not. I hope LE was at least abe to determine this.

This is the widest shot I can find anywhere, as the SUV is leaving at 5:12 pm. The garage door is white so could blend in, but I don't see it in this screenshot. Do you think there could be more that we aren't being shown? What is the camera focused on, the mailbox?

There must be more that we haven't seen

I noticed ina still shot that the garage door has a row of windows near the top

OMG... NO windows. I just looked again
I was sure I saw windows

Imo I would say yes the cameras focal point would be th mailbox. I say this because it looks to be that house's mailbox. It's in the center of the shot. Not much else is viewable. The car in the driveway is all cut off and the yard appears unremarkable.

Ok, so I watched the video above and it looked like a row of windows but the still pics show no windows in garage.
I had also forgotten about the white car in the driveway.
I guess Will and Linda had three cars?
The SUV pulled in closest to the side path
