I'm just trying to get a feel for the area, and try to figure out where a vehicle in a mad hurry would go on Thursday at 5:12 pm - in the heart of commuting time - to go hide something as soon as possible and them get home to have an alibi.
Its hard to say. It sort of depends on whether the perp knew right off the bat of a remote spot or not. The quickest way into the hills is up Bouquet Canyon. But say if perp was familiar with a spot in the hills of Canyon Country or along San Francisquito Cyn Rd, he could have taken that route. Then there is the Santa Clara river bed which is dry until it rains. I believe TMS was searching there. Its like finding a needle in a haystack but the searchers are tackling a new area every day.

Bouquet Canyon Rd. has 4 lanes going left and 3 going right. Newhall Ranch Rd. is another large street with 4 lanes going left and right. Both streets have 50 mph speed limit. Bouquet Canyon Rd. does eventually turn into a 2 lane hwy and leads out to some very rural areas and lots of little roads, some dirt, that take you deep into the mountains.
I wanted to add that there is tons of traffic from 4 to 6 pm around Valencia's main intersections due to people coming home from work. There are over 200,000 people in this Valley with very few roads leading in or out. But it takes about 10 minutes from the intersection of Seco Cyn Rd and Bouquet CAnyon Rd to get to the less poulated area along Bouquet Canyon. By the way there are road markers up Bouquet Canyon.

What doesn't make sense to me is how they got WC into the car alone? I haven't seen and updated pics of who we suspect but they weren't very big, neither is WC but dead weight is heavy and tricky to maneuver. Maybe someone was in the back seat? I wish we knew whether or not the suv was seen coming to the house earlier that day or if its the first time its seen? The video must have supported the nephews statement or LE would be questioning him hard and he would be POI. This case just doesn't make sense to me!
Maybe the perp was inside the house and an older man picked him up. Sure seems like a nice vehicle for such a young man.
I wonder also, this means nothing
but it has been bugging me... if Will's brother owns the house he and Linda were/are living in. Seems strange we haven't heard from him but then again, his son may be on the hot seat right now.

I do think that's just another one of their vehicles, in news report videos outside the home you see that same car parked next to Linda's car. So they must have 3 cars total is my only guess.

So the SUV pulled into the driveway around 5ish. If anyone got out, he/they would have had to walk past the vehicle parked in the driveway. And, possibly, walk past the car again carrying a deceased person. IDK...every second this took would have increased the probablility of being seen. By a neighbor, for example. jmo

Not sure...The SUV back opens...i assume? I have a jeep liberty and depending I could crawl from driver to the back....not gracefully but I still could, I think. : /

Would it be caught on the video ?

I'm not sure...i would think not unless the garage opened after the truck backed in.
Ugh....this case is making me nuts. It just seems so easy. I guess it is what we don't know, haven't been told or....

Wasn't it his sister's son that visited?

Agreed, they coukd have opened the garage, loaded him in the back? Or there is a side gate that gets a lot of coverage from a tree plus the other car would have added more coverage. Most of the neighbors would have been at work that day so not many people are home at that time plus if the suv was familiar to neighbors no one would have payed much attention to them coming in and out of the house. At this point no one knows any crime has been commited.

See your post, #985. It was Will's brother's son.

And yet, as was discussed WC's next door neighbor did say in a TV interview that no one in LE had asked him/them if he/they saw or heard anything unusual. I thought, from the way he said it, that he HAD seen or heard something, but jmo. So, maybe people did go around the side path of the house. But the SUV was only there for about 5 minutes...so.

BBM : True, But, unless WC had taken off before like this, or unless he had some pressing issues such as financial issues, was depressed, met someone new, it is likely that he didn't disappear voluntarily. jmo

I totally agree, I meant that the day he goes missing no neighbors know that a crime has been commited yet so they arent on the look out for someone moving a body out of the house, so I doubt any neighbor thought anything odd was going on when the suv showed up. If anyone noticed at all. I definitely dont think WC left voluntarily.

I'm really interested in hearing everyone who is local give a % breakdown of if they'd go left or right at each intersection. We know for a fact the SUV headed left from the driveway up to Festividad. From there, what % left and what % right for each intersection. Remember, we're assuming the driver was in PANIC MODE with a body in the back.

For example:
Festividad - 100% left, 0% right
Bouquet Canyon - __% left, __ % right

And so on.

I am new to this site so not sure if I am replying correctly to your post. I am local and very familiar with this area. If I was going in the same direction off this street as the SUV and turned left to head towards Bouquet, I would never attempt to turn left on Bouquet. It is too difficult to cross traffic.
I would either turn right on Bouquet or turn right off cuatro milpas and drive 2 minutes through the neighborhood to get to a stop light (either Seco Cyn or Decoro).
Hopefully that makes sense.

ETA: I might try to turn left at 11pm at night but never ever during a peak traffic hour around 5pm.

I had read that the bloodstains were found in the kitchen. IF true, wonder if the kitchen is towards the back of the house, and is there access to the kitchen from a side door, or sliders ? Makes me wonder if someone(s) came into the house that way, and hurt WC there. jmo
