Zealer Kendrick was dropped off at the bus station on 6th and LA Streets at 10:00 p.m. on June 18, 1985. Zealer was headed to Haynesville, Louisiana and was carrying $800. Zealer was planning on being gone for 2 weeks and was supposed to return home in time for a family reunion on July 5. He did not arrive in Haynesville and it's unclear whether he boarded the bus.
