IMO there would be no accident. If the baby is found to be dead, then it is not by accident. Just because 11 people were a bunch of sheep and listened to 1 stupid nursing student down in Florida, doesn't mean that covering up accidents is realistic. MOO

I'm still sitting on the fence because I want more evidence. I want some DNA and I would also love to know the statements given by DB's drinking buddy.

We have to be prepared for the fact this may not be an accident. Seeing the change in DBs attitude from the sweet, heartbroken woman who first spoke about her baby, I have the feeling she could have had a "bad moment" with poor impulse control, due to the fact she wanted to be free of this sick baby and drink with her neighbor.

By her own admission, she NEVER checked the baby again after 6:40PM, that was an hour after JI went to work. The baby was sick. She never checked her again. Not good, by anyone's standards. MOO

I never buy an accident theory when a child is missing .I've stated it so often I finally had to put it in my siggie. :banghead:
Parents hide their children, instead of getting help, when they inflict harm deliberately. If the child dies as a result, that's not an accident.JMO

have the cops ever done something like this in the past to turn up the heat on the parents? Just wondering why if there really was any good evidence leading to a murder or any hint of that child why havent the cops arrested her before she flees?

If something like this happend to me or my family God forbid I wouldnt set foot in a police department w/o my lawyer, but i worked for a criminal lawyer and know how cops can be. 30 years ago I would have trusted them 100% now that im older no way especially if i was innocent. Just saying. i see a whole lota smoke but no fire.

I don't believe LE would put false info in a search warrant, that is an official document. Not the same as telling a POI a lie or a fib.

Exactly. LE is not allowed to lie to obtain a search warrant, or everything they collect could be thrown out.

Wouldn't there have to be bodily fluids for the dogs to hit? I mean, a smothered baby....what fluids would there be...would she have had to be there long?

If she had some sort of accident, for instance, and crawled over but couldn't get drunk mom's attention, she could have died on the floor unnoticed for hours?

Baby Lisa is small, and once you die, you start decomposing and there would be a scent for the dogs.

I really don't want to go into bodily fluids etc., as it brings me back to Caylee. Maybe someone else wants to handle that.

I dont think that they would tell the judge that. He had to sign the search warrant. It has to be true. moo

There are alcoholics who function very well. It's one of the ways people with drinking problems convince themselves they are fine and normal and can keep drinking as they do.

They hold jobs, keep a clean house, feed the kids - but they still drink and drink to excess to dull their emotions.

True, my little sister died from alcoholism/anorexia (not a great combo :( ) and her place was always much cleaner and nicer-looking than mine...she was so worried about appearances, what people would think, etc...

Dear God...could her body be in the Starbucks where Jeremy was working? We're they pouring concrete there, putting up new walls or was it just electrical work? I think someone needs to find out.

Yikes scary thought. I agree.

One day Im gonna stop giving the benefit of the doubt so I wont be so floored when the truth starts coming out. And if I was still a destructive drinking gal Id be on my way to buy several boxes of wine.
Was Jeremy the one carrying the baby that night? Dear lord have mercy.

Possible scenario: mom, son, and baby are all in the bed. Baby falls out, head-first, and dies. No one notices until dad comes home...and there are custody issues with other children.

Having said that, dogs are excellent tools, but there are other possible explanations for the hit.

Yes. 'False' hits are very common in certain SAR and HRD dogs.
DNA doesn't lie often, though.

I am just awakening from an afternoon nap--what a jolt to the senses to read about this latest news. I am way behind and trying desperately to catch up.

Oriah, little Lisa is less than a year old. When pregnant women go into labor, sometimes their "water breaks." If a Debbie's water were to break while standing on that rug, or even if she was dribbling amniotic fluids as she went into labor, would this cause a "hit" by the dogs?

This is true...but it scares me that some people seem to genuinely BELIEVE the most outlandish theories based on nothing.
I can understand having a theory...but to believe 100 % your own THEORY involving KILLING and BURYING the baby ...well thats just strange to me..it makes me not want to post here because its just NOT sensible or sane.(at this early point)

Thank god LE are not to quick to jump to conclusions.

Is DB having something to do with the baby's death and then maybe trying to bury the baby really an outlandish crazy insane theory at this point?

Of course, I do agree LE should be held to different standards than us. I feel like they have done a good job to be honest. They have pursued other leads and sightings at the same time as aggressively pursued issues with the original story and house.

Are they usually closet drnkers,do you think ? Loks like DB is quite gregarious MOO, and of course, she supposedly wasn't drinking alone that night ? Just a thought...IMO she will use being drunk as a defense when this comes to trial...MOO

If I lived in that neighborhood, I would organize or get out the word to all home owners to search their yards for any earth that might look like it was recently overturned. IE: soil, mulch, stones, anything that looks different!

iirc the starbucks was a remodel/rewiring job

(now to find a link to that in timeline may take a bit)

Now who would know where wall cavities were and how to access them without tearing out the walls?

Oooh, maybe an electrician?

Don't they have stud finders / devices to do that?

Perhaps a SAR here can answer whether or not they believe the dog would have hit on urine like it was decomp.
