I am not off the fence yet. I read a whole lot of media that indicated this couple were devoted to their children and happy.

Consuming alcohol does not make someone more likely to kill their child. JMVHO.

No, but accidents occur due to gross negligence. Even though I lean toward accident in this case because I do think DB was drunk, I'm not ruling out premeditated homicide. Sometimes people do things that we just can't believe they were capable of. It happens all the time. I believe DB has some emotional instability... she didn't work, didn't drive, may not have had any self-esteem. Part of me still thinks this may have been a big, neurotic, tragic attention grab. DB may have been jealous of the gorgeous baby that could do no wrong.

Urine, feces, blood from a live person smells different to a dog, than those same things coming out of a dead person.
Let's try this... Does a live chicken, pig, cow smell the same to you as a breast, chop or filet?

Great analagy sarx. Thanks for breaking it down for us amateurs. :rocker:

i still don't think mom is involved...would i bet myhouse on it..no way. The fact is none of us have any evidence of anything at the moment...my gut tells me mom is not involved but my gut could be wrong.

With all the changing stories from the parents I believe the evidence of a “hit” by a trained cadaver dog is very compelling. Have to admit that I am biased because I haven’t believed a word out of DB’s mouth since this started. Have to add, IMO, JI is suspicious as well.

someone earlier asked about MO gun laws re: the warrant. we have a concealed carry licensing program, which prohibits felons and basically anyone with a violent misdemeanor from obtaining one. HOWEVER, we do NOT require any sort of registration or licensing to purchase or possess guns.

LOL, oh good, wasn't sure if it was or not. Oriah and I had a long conversation about this yesterday. Sometimes it can be really hard to break it down in a way that makes sense to those not living in a sar dog world, lol.

Someone pointed out on the first page that the outfit they took from the search warrant, is the one she was last seen in.

Deborah, Jeremy, if you killed your daughter, you won't be getting off scot free like Casey Anthony.

JI was definitely at work at midnight - hasn't that been verified?

I am off the fence with this news. My guess is an accidental death while mom was intoxicated. Maybe Lisa found pills and overdosed or drowned in the bath. A 10 month old can crawl and can pull themselves up to standing.

I have always wondered about the fan. Bad accident waiting to happen and it was Dad who mentioned Mom sleeping with a fan on.

What needs to be known via the two boys, the neighbor over for drinks and the 4 year old little girl is IF Baby Lisa was alive while they were all there.

They had purple pants and a shirt, but not the shirt that was originally described.

Does anyone know if JI did a lie detector test before they lawyered up? I may have missed it if he did.

He did not take a lie detector test and they both have the same attorney, Joe Tacopina (sp)?

If I remember correctly, a body need only be dead one hour to give off the "cadaverine" hormones that the dogs can detect, probably less time for a baby. One thing that has concerned me all along about this case is that the parents said they have not questioned the other children for clues. That's just big red flag to me.

I am praying you are correct. I have a sick feeling in my stomach because they haven't found cellphones or Lisa yet though :( I know they can try a case without a body, but...

JI claimed police has not asked him to do a lie detector test.

To any dog? I am not belaboring-I am just trying to get it.

I had to skip a few pages so don't know if this was brought up before but
WHAT IF whomever DB called to help, and since I don't think they are the smartest people on earth, MOO. THOUGHT that by walking all around the area in different directions with a possibly dead baby would ALERT the dogs to other areas to throw OFF the scent from teh house? Make sense to anyone else?
God i hope i don't give anyone ideas on future crimes by stating these things that come to mind.

I agree its going to be a FCA-type trial fiasco and maybe tried to improve on what FCA did. Thus the 'drinking' and being drunk, etc.

MOO........

Sarx if someone died in that house say 15 yrs ago would one of these dogs still hit on it?

The only thing that I don't understand about the diabolical muder theory is that she has 2 older children, with no previous indications of abuse. Why would she want to kill this little one and not the 2 before? Would it be because Lisa was a girl?

Not true, according to trial testimony I've heard from a cadaver dog handler. According to him, if you cut your finger and bled on the ground, and the blood began to decompose...a dog might hit on that.

Just telling you what a cadaver dog handler has said. I have zero knowledge personally.

An FBI cadaver dog got the hit at the home.

The FBI dogs, which often are used at both disaster and crime scenes, are trained "specially to recognize the scent of decaying, decomposing human flesh," retired FBI special agent Jeff Lanza said Friday.

"That's what they hit on. What the dogs are saying is that they smell that scent," Lanza said. "That can be the scent of an actual body decomposing, or residual scents after the body is no longer there."

is there any way the LE can get something like a court document that would allow them to talk to the 2 boys without the parents consent? i'm not really sure what procedures are in place for situations like this.

IMO the boys need to be re-interviewed
