US Navy pilot killed in F-18 jet crash in Cambridgeshire Fens

Very near to me. It looks like the pilot is the sole fatality and locals are saying he did well to avoid small settlements scattered nearby. local witness also says he ejected so there are two sites being investigated.

So sad, thoughts to the pilot's family. RIP.
