For locals, how about flyers at stores, the library, etc.[/QUOT
I sent the following to FOX News, Greta, Geraldo, O'Reilly, Hannity, Sheppard, Live Desk and everyone I could find an email address listed. Maybe someone will get the word out. BeanE I took the liberty of quoting you in my email, hope that is ok. You said everything so well!
I am going to try to go tomorrow if possible. I live 2 1/2 hours north.

Please put the following on all Blogs and News cast to get the word out that Tim Miller with Texas EquuSearch needs volunteers in Orlando to help with the search for Caylee Anthony. They need people to help in different ways. They need to know if they are uncomfortable possibly seeing something horrible they can work behind the scenes (see below). Just please help.
Only 100-150 people showed up Saturday don't know how many today (Sunday.). Please ask your bloggers close enough to go out Monday if they are still searching and help. Contact family and friends in the area to help.
TELL THEM NOT TO LET THEIR FEELINGS OR FRUSTRATION FOR/WITH HER MOTHER CASEY OR THE GRANDPARENTS ENTER INTO THEM HELPING. THIS IS FOR CAYLEE!!!!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT HOME ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. THIS LITTLE GIRL DID NOT ASK FOR OR DESERVE WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO HER. SHE NEEDS OUR HELP!
Can you also ask FOX News to let people know they are needed regardless how they feel towards the family.
The following taken from a poster "BeanE" at Websleuths with wonderful ideas how to help:
"Can go to the search, and volunteer for activities other than searching the grounds. Some ideas would be:
sorting, setting out, distributing sandwiches and drinks
running errands
'runners' to convey messages and items to people
people with cell phones to convey messages to searcher's families, call local businesses to ask for donations or deliveries of needed food, water, etc.
People with wireless laptops to look up information, research, use google maps to get and print directions and maps
collecting and sorting donated items
- Can volunteer, but are long distance/not in the area/local but can't leave children at home. These people all have computers at home. Some ideas would be:
Developing, printing, copying, sending, maps
Research, looking up information
Making up flyers
Developing and sending press releases to local TV and radio stations, and local online websites, asking for local volunteer searchers, equipment, water, food, socks, bug spray, and providing signup or delivery info
answering emails
answering phones
ordering and having delivered (and paying for) food, drinks, socks, bug spray, energy bars, whatever is needed
local people who can run errands or pick up and drop off items
local people who can provide transportation to searchers
I'm kicking myself for forgetting about people who develop websites, and could develop add-ons for the TES website for individual cases. Update with local info for volunteers, donations that are needed, rides that are needed, equipment needed, etc. Where's Caylee?!? "
Sincerely,
Lynn

From the Orlando Sentinel:
"Mandy Albritton, EquuSearch's deputy director in the search for Caylee, said members are realistic about the chances of finding Caylee, who relatives said was last seen alive in mid-June.
"Whether we're looking for a live child or a dead child, we'd like for the community to continue to work for Caylee," Albritton said. "Whether she's coming home to live out her life or home to rest, it's still a rescue mission."
Albritton said the nonprofit group will spend at least $25,000 on the search and hopes that local businesses will donate food and water for volunteers. She also said she hoped for a larger turnout, and worries that local ill will toward Casey Anthony is distracting locals from the need to focus on Caylee."
