You were the one with the cool towel when I needed it! Bless you for that. I was in a pink shirt with George's group.

I remember you!!! The towel in the ice water was the best at keeping me cool (thank another woman for showing me that). I woke up this morning too sore to move :(( I am so saddened that I dont feel up to going today. Am hoping that there are many more to take my place.

Hi fellow WS person. We were probably rubbing elbows today as I was there as well. Yes, it rained and yes, it's the holiday weekend but, this little girl needs to be found. We need manpower. We need numbers to stand side by side for this little girl. For an area the size of Orlando, the numbers were not there. I too was amazed. I am tired and sore but I too, will be back in the morning. This child needs for me to be there. That's what it's about.

Geraldo last nite reported that there were hundred's of volunteer's that showed up! Thought I'd throw something at the TV when he said it.:bang:

I cannot believe there are so few. These people need HELP.

God Bless everyone of you who are there helping! You're all Angel's for Caylee!

The media needs to do more coverage now on the TES searches --- this information needs to get out to the public. If you have any time to contact the media and give them this information or any other suggestions as to how to get the word out - GO FOR IT!!!!

I won't be able to help today, I have to work since it is not raining. If we get it all done today maybe I can help tomorrow if they haven't found her yet. I will keep the threads I posted on other sites bumped up this morning to make sure people see them. Good luck to all the searchers today, and be safe.

I live here in Orlando and I admit I have been wavering about joining the search. I'm not gonna lie. I'm scared. Scared of what I might find and I'm not quite sure how I would handle that. But this post has really tugged on my heart to possibly face those fears. I'm going to see if I can arrange a way for my husband and I to join the search team.

I haven't finished reading the thread, but I'm begging you to reconsider. I have been involved in a TES search, and there are other ways to help than search. They always need help in the Command Center, and the searchers need to be fed when they come back in at lunch, breaks, etc. I can't physically search due to health reasons, but there is oh so very much that goes into coordinating a huge effort like this. TES AND CAYLEE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP !!!

If I could get to Florida from TX right now, I'd be there. Please, please, anyone that can, be there for Caylee. This is a very very positive step we can take in honor of this little girl.

And bless you all that took part today - you have my heartfelt thanks, and prayers that you are feeling okay today. Thank you, thank you, thank you !!

I too am very sore today. My and Ben-gay are going to be close today. If it continues tomorrow and they still haven't found her yet, I will go. I think Geraldo needs to get his facts straight.

Please-everyone in the area of Orlando-This search is just as much about eliminating areas and closing the gaps in where Caylee might be!!!

As Mark Klaas said in chat, she is a very little girl in a very big city-do not let your fear of finding something prevent your warm body from marching over and helping out...from the bottom of my heart, the chances of you finding things related to this case are small, but it is IMPERATIVE that TES and LE are able to rule OUT locations, which cannot be done until they are adequately searched.

Please reconsider-if you have some time and you have some friends and family-you will feel so good...you will have made a big, big impact.

Peace and love to you all!

I couldn't have said it any better. I was up until after 3am writing or calling late night radio stations all over Central Florida. I don't know if what I did had any impact at all but, I know first hand what the need is and I didn't see it yesterday. Of those that were there, worked not even willing to stop for lunch. At the end of the day, everyone was exhausted but it was a good feeling because we felt we were able to do SOMETHING to help find this little girl. You make new friends, spend a day with them and know that you will never forget them as long as you live. Thank you for your post. It is greatly needed.

Musikman - I was there from early this am until about 1pm. I was the heavyset blonde -bright striped shirt - hair pulled back. I was part of Pauls group on the search and then left. Which one were you?

I'm going to try to go tomorrow. Unless I can somehow join in the search later today. Do you just show up at the same location?

Yes, you can go today. There were latecomers yesterday. They need the help so desperately. Same location, yes.

Any volunteers can meet at the Command Center at:
5750 TG Lee Boulevard
Orlando. The rear parking lot behind the Holiday Inn
You will need a photo ID to participate
You DO NOT need to be a member of TES to volunteer.

I'm just wondering because it is like we were BOMBARDED with footage of Casey going back to jail, and nobody mentioned anything about a search!!!

Maybe CNN can put this info on there News Ticker at the bottem of the screen!

I think I will e-mail both of them and ask that they do this~

Do we need anything particular? Like long pants, long sleeves? Are you walking through thick woods? Mud?

That's a great idea! Although, I don't know if the search will continue into tomorrow or not. I'm just surprised that the Orlando news channels aren't advertising this. Orlando seems to have forgotten that Caylee is still lost.

Yes, long pants, bug spray, stick, energy bars. There are people that will go through the mud and water on your team.
Go.....you won't regret it.
