Hello! I am going mad trying to recall a case. The details I remember, if correct, involve a missing woman and child/children. She had left in a vehicle on a snowy or stormy night. Perhaps at Christmas or thanksgiving? She had borrowed shoes or boots that were too small. She was struggling financially or perhaps a free sprit. 1960-1980 case. Any help would be great. Thank you!

Could it have been this one?

I believe they were traveling home after Thanksgiving. I recall later that the father was found deceased. James Kim. Grateful that mom & two daughters survived.

Mom, 2 kids survive -- frantic hunt for dad / S.F. woman, girls survive 9 days in wilderness; father left them to seek help
