Police seek help identifying e-scooter rider who is in critical condition after Ajax crash

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying an e-scooter rider who is in critical condition after he crashed in Ajax on Tuesday afternoon.

'The single-vehicle crash occurred on Kitney Drive, north of Clements Road West, around 3:15 p.m.
Durham Regional Police said the man was riding a Segway Ninebot Kick Scooter Max G2 along the east side of the northbound lanes when he lost control and fell, causing him to hit his head.
He wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, police said.''

'He is described as a white male between 45 and 60 years old, standing six feet tall, weighing about 220 pounds, with a bald head and scruffy grey beard.
The man was last seen wearing dark green corduroy shorts, prescription glasses, a faded black baseball hat with “Pinewood Toronto Studios” printed on the front and black Reebok shoes with white soles and red accents.''

Durham cops looking to ID unknown man who fell from e-scooter in Ajax, airlifted to trauma centre with life-threatening injuries

The unknown man was riding a Segway Ninebot Kick Scooter Max G2 northbound along Kitney Drive, just north of Clements Road West, when he lost control and fell, say police.
