January: Bush fails to show up for his scheduled tax date. The case is thrown out.
July: Bush faxes Alban Garon, summoning him to an appearance at Bush’s house in a hearing of a fake court.

April: Commissionaire Paul-Andre Simard is killed in his Meadowlands Drive home in an apparent home invasion.
June 28: Raymonde Garon answers door to mystery delivery driver who “forgot” package for her husband.
June 29: The Garons and neighbour Marie-Claire Beniskos are killed between 9 a.m. and noon in an apparent home invasion on Riverside Drive.
June 30: Raymonde’s brother finds the bodies of his sister, brother-in-law and their neighbour bound, gagged and beaten inside the Garons’ condominium.

Dec. 18: Ernest Côté is assaulted, robbed and left for dead in apparent home invasion on Durham Private. Police recover DNA at the crime scene. Police arrest and charge Ian Bush with the alleged crimes.
