It's getting more and more possible that they may never be found. :/
I can't help but wonder if there's tensions within the families, the L's and O's and if this tragedy is dividing anyone. I don't read too much into analyzing Facebook BUT, seeing RO's new profile pic of NO is crushing, such a beautiful boyAnyways, Hardly any 'likes' for RO's pic from the L side (2 from the girl and boy EL), and vice-versa on some of the L's profile pic homages, not too many likes from O's. To defend everyone though, I doubt Facebook is a priority for the families right now while grieving, but some seem to be on there more than others, who knows .
It's possible bones can tell cause of death I think even if old maybe? If bones are chipped by a bullet, or knife or crushed by an object (I really hate typing these things) they might be able to tell cause of death no? I mean, I have no idea, just thought they could tell that stuff no matter how old.
Oooh...I would imagine that a new pic of NO would be difficult to "Like"....I wouldn't know what to do if that happened in my family. I know it's nowhere near the same but when my dad died, my sister-in-law put a pic of him as her profile picture, so everytime I went on FB, that's who I saw...it was really upsetting. Maybe people aren't "liking" it because IMO, FB is not an appropriate place to use as a "memorial" site. It is a beautiful pic, and I agree, he's absolutely gorgeous.
I also think that there would be tension between the Liknes and O'Brien families...maybe not with everyone, but certainly someone in their grief might have pointed a finger at someone else...sometimes people lash out in unreasonable ways...it's just a terribly sad thing all around.![]()
Good points Tinkerbel1, for sure. Makes sense, I guess some people might not know how to react or 'like' the photo. Facebook is a strange place, definitely an outlet for some but not all. Sorry about your dad too.
I believe tomorrow is the Superheroes are Real, walk for Nathan. I was looking at the collage and photo of Nathan on his Dads FB page.... Nathan exudes so much energy in his photo's, he is such a beautiful boy. As long as his parents have hope, so will I.

That makes sense. With a soft kill, there would be no evidence on the bones, but we know this wasn't a soft kill.
I agree. Those words make my stomach lurch. Literally. Sadly, if my theory proves accurate little if anything would ever be found.Oh..."soft kill"...those are such horrible words...actually they're all horrible words. How do we know it wasn't for sure? Could've been suffocation; could have been knife wound that didn't touch any bones...could've been a gunshot that didn't touch the bones. At this point in time, there will likely be nothing left but skeletons so if there were superficial wounds that caused bleeding and perhaps strangulation or suffocation, then there wouldn't be any evidence on the bones. Hopefully, there is some evidence at least for some sort of closure, although, do people really need to know how they met their fate? I imagine it would be so hard on the families to know.
