you agreed with my first line of thinking but the second line, as in, he is waiting to put further shame come court time by outing the second.

oddly enough, he is safer where he is now than any place regardless of an accomplice. can you imagine if he were acquitted?

Definitely safer in Remand, I bet that's why no bail request too.

If he was acquitted on technicalities but obviously guilty (like OJ) I wouldn't be surprised if some type of vigilante justice happened (not my cup of tea, but some peoples I suppose). There's a vigilante website of sorts out there for the murdered realtor Lindsay Buziak from Victoria, BC that I believe her father or friend put together. Lots of people's dirty (money) laundry and drug dealers exposed on there for all the public and LE to see, very interesting read. Since the crime isn't solved, the website was created to create some pressure to those who know info but aren't telling.

And, I have to give AL and RO so much credit, if that was me in that court room with the person I thought murdered my child/family - I wouldn't be able to contain myself, I'd be screaming 'where's my son, please tell us' and I wouldn't care if I got kicked out, at least I would've got him to maybe look in my eyes for a split second and see what he's caused. I've always been bit dramatic though ;)

I just ate a whole box of Dare Ginger snaps (dipped in a fresh cup'a tea),, my gut is now rumbling like an encroaching storm.

Guess I just pick my nose and wait.

I think DG is smart enough to know what he was getting into, I just can't imagine him being a sucker. I think he could be very well respected with his badass associates.

Oh! So sorry Silly Billy! I guess I missed some posts today. I took your comment a different way, my apologies. :sorry:

You miss posts Tinker?! LOL, man, I'm bad, I used to read 8-9 pages a night when it was thumping to catch up and keep up to not miss posts!! But, it was all for nothing since I forget so much now anyways lol! Maybe Websleuths is addicting?! ;)

IMO, knowing too much is knowing too much. Period. If DG was just a sucker who was drawn into this crime unknowingly by some badass associates, do you think his criminal buddies (who tricked him into participating) are going to take his word for it that he'll never talk? IMO, if they are such murderous thugs, they'd hardly feel any hesitation to get rid of him if he gets out, just in case. Come on, he's in danger either way.

IMO

And if this is true and he was involved with some badass associates, which makes him basically a dead man walking if gotten out...he will definitely have need of a witness protection program, which he won't like because by what he's shown, he is dedicated to and loves that farm and likely his family. He's pretty much had the biscuit either way.
I guess his life is never going to be the same, ever.

sorry to ask this but when did AL officially declare bankruptcy for winter pet?

I think part of what may be mitigating that response from AL and RO is that DG is family of sorts. I would think they would be more inclined to book a visit with him and ask "why did you do it man?" Rather than launching into a full-scale drama in the courtroom. He's not some unknown to them. They've had somewhat of a personal relationship with him. We tend to be a little more "compassionate" to those we know that have committed crimes. That's just what I think

I wish we knew how long DG lived on that acreage. I am still not convinced the farm and his parents were his priority.

I used to like McNally's Extra on tap but it's discontinued. I only drink beer at a pub and my other choice is Guinness or Big Rock Traditional. I have a thing for Armagnac (1958) but a 26'er is the price of a mortgage so it's been awhile. Don't really drink much anymore and struggle a bit to remember the last time I've had a sip.

True enough, but they stay firm enough and don't collapse onto my lap/laptop/floor/any-order after the dip into the hot tea, nor do they leave bits of dissolved cookie bit in the bottom of the cup. Tea biscuits are just cheap crackers salted with sugar.

Yes, I agree, it would be nice to know how long he lived on that acreage and whether or not he even lived there full-time. Maybe just in the sping/summer to help out with things. See"? We don't even know that much about himl

Haha, I just ate some cookies! :p

Ha! I just ate a whole row of cookies too! While chuckling to myself about what a wild woman I have become...cookies and milk on a Sat. night.
Cookies are the go-to comfort food for when the weather turns cold.

I swear I heard or read somewhere DG had ties to Vancouver Island at some point. I've searched high and low online and can't find anything!!! It's also driving me nuts where I saw that in the first place, argh.

lol...I think Arrowroots are the best...they hold together best since they're intended to survive a while through baby slobber.
